wedding gift from parents

I'm very curious. What did your parents and what did FH parents give you as a wedding gift? If they paid for the wedding or part of the wedding did they still get you a card? If they contributed nothing financially to the wedding or rehearsal did they give a gift?

DH's mother gave us nothing, she wasn't invited to the wedding, but she knew about it.
DH's father gave us a card with $ and my mom gave us a card with $. My mom also paid for a few things for me, like my slip, my alterations, 1/2 our favors.

Our parents didn't give us any wedding gifts. My parents paid for the wedding, and IL's paid for the RD and HM.

IL's gave us a card.......neither of my parents gave a card, lol.

My dad paid for the wedding. He and my step-mom gave us a card as well.

My mom and step father gave us a card, numerous gifts from our registry, and a check much bigger than I ever expected.

DH's parents gave us a card and an Orek vacuum cleaner as our present. We already had a vacuum. I make him vacuum the house since his parents gave us the dang thing. It doesn't even have attachments (nor can you buy any)!!

ILs paid for 1/4 of wedding plus RD...didnt give gift but gave card (i think)

my parents paid 1/4 of the wedding plus my bridal shower, other random expenses. Gave a nice $$$ gift as well.

My parents paid for the wedding and they didn't give me a card.

My parents paid for about half the wedding. My mom and I pretty much did all the planning together (went to vendor meetings, etc) They also gave us $2000 as a gift. Totally unexpected. DH's mom contributed nothing and didnt give us anything. She says she will when she can financially afford to.

My Dad threw us the E-Party, Bridal Shower and gave us money at the wedding.

My IL's paid for the RD and my flowers. They also gave us cash at the wedding.

my parents paid for the entire wedding, gave us a card, and an insanely generous money gift.

dh's father gave us a card and a check.

dh's mom and step father (who we live with by the way, but not for long!) gave us nothing, not even a card. and made sure we remembered to pay rent that month.

FMIL gave us our HM and my parents are giving us a belated wedding gift in January- he said somehting about his taxes IDK!

My parents paid for my dress, a few deposits, the shower and the flowers. They gave us a card at the wedding.
ILs gave us the deposit for the hall, the e-party and RD, and then gave us a card at the wedding which told us to pick out a new TV on them.
Overall each parents contribution to the wedding was about $10k, which I think is more then generous.

my parents threw us our engagement party so from that we were able to keep all the money from gifts. they also paid for 90% of my hall as well as my dress and invitations.
FH's parents paid for the RD. they gave us a check as well.

Both parents helped to pay for the whole wedding and gave a big sum of money each.
My IL's gave us a card when they gave us the check. My mom gave me a card on the morning of the wedding and my parents gave dh a welcome ot the family card.
My parents also paid for my dress, hair, nails, shoes, undergarments, slip, makeup, breakfast the day of, and decorations for the house.

His parents paid for our airfare and hotel room for the honeymoon. no card but hey! I'd rather have they honeymoon...

My parents, also no card, but they contributed about half of the wedding costs.

DH's dad paid for the RD and gave us a huge-for-us check (I'm sure some of you got bigger, but we were expecting like $500 and were way off in our guess ). My mom paid for my dress and gave us $1,000 which was VERY generous of her.

ETA: Both of them got us cards, too!

my parents paid for our RH balance and gave extra $ too... DH's dad paid for the RD and gave us a check for a generous amount (but then asked DH for half of it back.. yeah another story lol). DH's mom gave us a check as well.

My parents paid for about half of the wedding and did not give a gift (they really couldn't afford it). My in-laws paid for the other half of the wedding and gave us a check as our gift.

My parents paid for the reception & gave us a card for the wedding.

MIL paid for the RD.

My mom paid for my wedding dress as a gift, my dad paid for the limos. MIL paid for our photography..I am more than grateful for their generousity and I seriously do not need a card from them.
