Beach Wedding

Can anyone suggest a place where we can have a reception on a beach or overlooking a beach (easy accces to.) I don''''t mean a reception hall like The Cresent Beach Club, but a place where we can set up a tent on the beach or nearby and have it catered. Thanks!

Beach Wedding

Try Sunken Meadow. We did a wedding there at the pavillion. There's also Jones Beach @ their restaurant. The best might be Atlantica, on the beach in Westhampton (although you would have to use their excellent catering facility.)

Beach Wedding

The Sands beach club might be a good idea, you can ask if you can just use their beach or maybe the catering hall just for the cocktail hour and have the reception on the beach. I recommend calling up all of the local beach clubs, and asking them if you could use their beach facilities without using the actual hall that they have. Beach Wedding

There is a location at Ronkonkoma Beach (suffolk County) that has this type of facility.There is also a facility at Sunken Meadow Park (North Shore) that is catered by Lessings.Both might work for you and both are enclosed.Also call Toni Ferrari at Culinary Studio (caterer) (631) 385-8500 . I would suggest calling up some of your favorite beaches and just asking. When you've found a spot, why not a beautiful nautical theme wedding cake with ropes or sugar sea shells? Or starfish shaped cookie favors for your guests?
