How is Villa Lombarti regarding prices and how is the food at Larkfield Manor

As a vocalist in a Long Island wedding band, I must say that Villa Lombardi has excellent food, and the amount of food offered is unbelievable. I've worked there on many occasions, and I have been a guest at two weddings this year at their facility and they really do a wonderful job, and the service was great. One of my customer's daughters was married there this August and they were very happy with the outcome of the entire event.

I also recently attended another function, as a guest, at Larkfield Manor which must have been refurbished since I was there last, and it was really elegant inside and the food was very good.

I would continue to get feedback, go and meet with each facility, and make a decision based on what's is included in your price, discuss what is important to you and your fiance, and which facility fits within your plan with regards to cost. As you go through the process it wil become apparent which selection you should make.

My personal opinion.....Villa Lombardi's.

Great food, service and ambiance. Price is most likely higher than Larkfield Manor! But....it is well worth it.

Villa Lombardi's is an amazingly beautiful facility, built on reputation and a staff that goes 'Above and Beyond'. It would be best to schedule a visit to experience these things first hand! I'm sure it will help in the decision making process. My friend worked there, and was very impressed at how the staff and facility works 'behind the scenes' also. Class act!

Villa Lombardi's is truly exceptional. The food is awsome (especially the clams in white sauce!) They do one heck of a cocktail hour and everything is done with good taste, charm and professionalism. I have gone to several weddings there as a guest and have also delivered many favors to their facility and were treated there with exceptional care even as a vendor. I say go for it!

Villa Lombardi does a beautiful job and the food is great. I have personally played there as well as provided many Bands and Dj's for weddings at Villa Lombardi and all the performers loved it. The Larkfield Manor has been refurbished and has new owners.They are much better than the previous management. Hope this helps.

I agree that Villa Lombardi has the edge in all the categories that seem to matter most. Food, atmosphere, service -the works. They all get top notch marks from me. Like Stan, I have performed and sent many acts there myself. There aren't many places that can compete.
Having said all that, just remember that our opinions may mean nothing compared to your individual tastes and needs. You might see something at the Larkfield that hits you in a very personal way. That's what really matters.
Check them both out carefully, ask lots of questions and follow your gut.
