Came for a wedding, the ceremony was outside and they decorated nicely. The food was great and the open bar was good.

Gorgeous hotel with beautiful views. I attended a wedding here and did not stay overnight. The venue was amazing and the food was excellent.

Always a hidden treasure, always a good time. Since the new owners took over they have created a great new and inviting atmosphere. Highly Recommend this place, with reasonable rates and a view that is just breathtaking don't miss an opportunity to enjoy Port Jefferson's finest Hotel, Beauty and catering facility. Not to mention the mixologists know how to make the drinks right at the bar in their new wave restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Beautiful hotel and restaurant! Special requested a wine for my girlfriend and I. It was at the table and cold for us. The wine service was impeccable the server was truly trained on how to present a bottle and serve it. I was impressed. Our entire meal was fast and tasted amazing!

I recently attended my friend's wedding at Danford's hotel and marina and I felt they pulled it off masterfully well. The music, scenery, the transitions from one event to the next were all seamless and handled by Danford's very professional staff. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food, but I didn't have much first hand experience with it since I'm Vegan and the menu often didn't offer any vegan or vegetarian options. Even when the event ended and people didn't quite wanna leave we had the option to prolong our night at Danford's bar downstairs, which was fully stocked with beer, wine, and liquor. All in all, i can confidently say everyone in the wedding party had an exceptional evening, one that they will remember fondly for years to come.
