Flowerfield was WONDERFUL! I had not been to an event there prior to my wedding except for a few bridal showcases but the great things I heard from others that had been there were 100% on point and accurate! Everything was absolutely perfect and everything I could have wanted and more! Andy, the maître d is amazing. He went above and beyond for everything and made sure my husband and I had the absolute best time we could have! The food was impeccable and delicious! There wouldn't be one thing I would change about our wedding venue and the food. From our first sit down with Heather to book everything to our wedding day it was such a pleasurable experience and worth everything!

I cannot say enough good things about Flowerfield. From the planning process to the actual event, every single thing went perfectly. Heather helped us from the moment we went to see the venue and was even at our wedding to ensure all things got off smoothly. She was so beyond helpful in planning every detail of our day. Joet and Andy were amazing with helping us during our wedding. They both made sure my husband and I had everything we needed, but weren't overbearing at all. They gave us just the right amount of support we needed. They went above and beyond our expectations! The food - everyone is STILL talking about how delicious the food was! My husband and I got to try every entree during dinner, and everything was amazing and cooked to perfection! We even had leftovers for the following night. I wish they had a restaurant on premise so we could eat there all the time. Thank you to all the staff at Flowerfield. We had a wonderful experience at Flowerfield. From the first call we made, they were always willing to work with us. They were professional yet warm. They truly wanted us to have a wonderful day and we did. The service was impeccable. Their help in planning was much appreciated. They quickly understood our style and guided us through the next several months of making our day perfect without any added stress. I felt relaxed and stress free on the actual day, as they lived up to every guarantee and assurance. The actual day went so smoothly- the entire family was grateful. It was a beautiful day and the location was stunning. The food was amazing, which is what all the guests first commented on. There was so much room for our guests to feel relaxed both inside and outside. We happened to have lots of children at our wedding and I think the kids had the best time. They were mesmerized by the swans, fish, and bridge. There was something for everyone and everyone had a great time, especially the bride and groom!

This review first needs some brief back story. We were originally booked at the Thatched Cottage, a venue in Centerport that regretfully declared bankruptcy a mere months after graciously accepting our deposit money.... we lost the entire thing, a sizable chunk of our wedding budget. Destined is probably the best word to use for what came next, but a mere 6 months before our wedding Flowerfield entered our lives. Our wedding date was the ONLY Saturday night left in 2014, we fell in love with the venue immediately. They were very empathetic to our situation, and were determined to help us throw the wedding of our dreams. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, romantic is an understatement, and your guests will be wowed the moment they walk in. The ceremony took place on their "wedding island", which is far and away one of the most picturesque places I have ever seen. Throughout the rest of the night, Flowerfield will continue to beat all of your expectations. The food is impeccable, the service is spot on. Their Maitre De and Bridal Attendants will go above and beyond to ensure that your night runs as smoothly as physically possible. Linda (Bridal Attendant) knew we needed things before we knew we needed them, we'd turn around and there she was with a glass of water, or lip gloss, or a pair of more comfortable shoes. Andy (Maitre De) ensured that each and every detail executed with precision. Our guests raved about our wedding, and were astonished at the quality of everything they saw. Flowerfield is the definition of perfection in catering. And then there's Kerry, Flowerfield's Director of Sales. Kerry exemplifies what Flowerfield is all about. She is one of the most genuine, caring, and sweetest people we have ever met. Her empathy to the disaster we had previously experienced was amazing, and she made it her mission to ensure our wedding was our dream wedding - and she succeeded in blowing away our expectations.
