The snack truck idea came to me in 2011 when I was doing it for mitzvahs and sweet 16's, and said, “Wait a minute. Let's do this for weddings!”
Tell us a little bit about After Hours Snack Truck and how it got started.
The snack truck idea came to me in 2011 when I was doing it for mitzvahs and sweet 16's, and said, “Wait a minute. Let's do this for weddings!” :) My truck is not used during the week on job sites and it is only used on the weekend for weddings; the tuck is clean and spotless.
What sort of packages do you offer for couples who decide to have a snack truck at their event?
We offer 2 packages, a hot and cold package. Both of which you can see on the LIweddings ad or on the website. Plus we have a complete food menu of what it comes with. It’s sort of like 7/11 coming to your wedding.
What are some of your most popular end of the night treats?
The most popular treats are the fast food, the Gatorade drinks and candy.
How far in advance would you suggest couples book your snack truck?
You should book the truck 1 year ahead as we only have one truck and it's very popular now. We will be getting a 2nd truck for 2014 and 2015 brides to come.
