Finally broke through my 137 plateau, which is why I tried to avoid weighing myself all of September. Just in time for my fitting on Monday! I told FH I can't wait to feast Tuesday night hahha.![]()
Can't believe how much time has flown! I've stopped running as hard to slow down the process a little, but it's been great seeing my composition change and lean out. Time to incorporate more weights.
Progress:
12/12: 163lb
04/13: 148lb
05/13: 143lb
06/13: 141lb
07/13: 140lb
08/13: 138.8lb
09/13: 137.6lb
10/13: 135.7lb
That is awesome! Keep it up! I am hoping to have success soon and stop letting myself get side tracked and fall off. I got back on the wagon yesterday I didn't run cause 4 weeks no running I just didn't have the stamina so I power walked the same speed I would run and did 1.75 miles in 30 mins and then did body weight exercises like squats, lunges, and crunches. My legs are sore but no pain no loss!

I know what you mean! I fell off bad in Sept...we went away the first weekend and I worked late everyday and weekend, I didn't work out for like 2 weeks, but I continued eating healthy. Just gotta find a way to stick it out! It's so worth it to see the progress!
I gave up on Jillian Michaels and just continued running, but I think I'm going to try and start the 30 Day Shred again by November.

We did the same we went away the weekend after labor to all places Hershey PA. Since then I stopped running just was so fatigued couldn't bring myself to workout. And we just had our engagement party last weekend so left overs horrible food galore. By Weds I got back on my healthy eating habits and started working out again I did another workout yesterday same thing and super sore again. I am hoping this time I can stick to it.

Vacation set me on a bad downward spiral, but I think I am back on track. Using myfitnesspal again and trying to be at the gym for 1-2 hours 3x a week. I even dusted off my heart rate monitor last night so I could see how many calories I was burning on the weight machines, LOL.I picked my dress up on Sunday and it's gotten a little snug. So, I feel like that lit a fire under me. Hope everyone is having a good week!

I think we all fell into that rut for a bit. I have been pretty good worked out 3 days last week. Took off the weekend cause we were honestly too busy for me to fit a workout in. I worked out last night and plan on working out every night this week even if its just for 20 mins. I am aiming for 1 to 45mins though for at least 3 of them. I have pants that were way to tight and I refuse to go out and by bigger pants I want to by pants smaller so I am using that as motivation plus when I want to give up I repeat to myself sweat for the dress lol. Corny but I really want to look good on my wedding day. After our engagement party there was soooo many picture where I was so unhappy with the way I looked like my flabby arm or my double chin. I am paying way to much to hate my wedding day pictures so I am reminding myself of that. My diet has been okay I am good all day long and then I get this little snacking itch or sweet tooth that kicks in at night. I had a hand full of m&m's the last two nights but I am trying to keep myself in moderation of it. Cause if I don't allow myself to have it at all I will go off the deep end on a binge and find myself eating the whole bag. So hopefully I will see some improvement by the end of the month. Like I hope my pants aren't tight by the end of the month lol.

I hear you with the nighttime sweet tooth! I usually find myself craving sweets around 8pm. So, I removed all temptation except for fruit. Last night, it was grapes. Tonight, I have a pomegranate ready. Lol.I've been putting off taking our e-pics because of dreading trying to find an outfit and I suspect that I'll hate how I look in the pictures nomatter what. But, I'm determined to lose at least the 10 lbs I've gained and not put on an ounce more before the wedding. Ideally, I'd love to lose at least 30 lbs by March. But, I'll be happy as long as the dress isn't tight and my arms and upper chest area don't look gross!

I've been battling myself for a year to lose weight and I've only manage to lose 10 now cause I gained a good 8 back. I am determine to lose 30lbs by next year. I have never had to battle my weight so much in my life it is kind of crazy.

bridejackson22- what have you been doing to have such great success?!
Idk if I have had great success but anything is better than nothing. Chaz has made a transformation which is amazing and she looks great so she has been an inspiration to me. Honestly I have gotten back on writing my food down myfitnesspal.com. it really does keep you in check of what your are eating and how much you are really eating. I actually measure my food out and have been monitoring more portion control. I have been not letting myself talk myself out of not working out so every night when I come home from work I get out of my work clothes and into my workout clothes if I don't I find I start to try to come up with excuses not to. But so far I have been really good I have worked out 7 times in the past 10 days. If I start to feel like I am slacking I have a picture from my engagement party that I absolutely hate the way I look and it fires up the motivation. I really think you have to keep it in focus of why you want it and remind yourself of it or you can easily let yourself fall off. I know I am very guilty of that this summer cause I rather do other things than work out. This weekend we going away but I plan on doing a lot of walking and being active and do not plan on going overboard eating like past trips. With holidays around the corner it is motivating me even more to push myself to lose so that I can combat the holiday weight gain. We can do this just have faith that you can and keep focused.

Congrats girl! I don't even know what to say but thank you for making me feel so great, we're all working our asses off and at the end of the day, you're definitely going to feel and look amazing on your big day!
MyFitnessPal is so helpful, I fall off all the time but I try so hard to commit to entering my food. And I totally agree with the pictures - that's my BIGGEST motivator! I hated how I was looking in pictures and it pushed me so much harder. Try taking pictures of your progress and put them side by side every so often...you'd be surprised what changes will show in pictures that you don't see in the mirror!
Keep up the amazing work! :) So happy for you!

I am at the 1 yr mark today so I have 1 yr to get tone and fit. I told fh that for Christmas I want a gym membership and personal trainer lol. I really hope I actually get it since I seem to have a problem with consistency. I am good for a week fall off get back on.

I completely agree! I have gained since purchasing my dress and at this stage of the game, I would be happy to lose the 5-7 I have put on before my dress fitting in 3 weeks!! I have realized that I am who I am, I had SOOO much time to lose weight and I haven't. FH and I love to eat and I am not ashamed of that. Us curvy girls UNITE!! hehe We will look gorgeous on our wedding day NO MATTER WHAT!

Ah! I can't believe that I only have 7.5 months left and I have not lost ANY weight! I need to get on track PRONTO. Does anyone have any tips for motivation? It's tough because I tell myself that I only want to lose around 10-15 lbs and I have 'more' than enough time for that... even though I have been saying this since I got engaged!
