Ah! I can't believe that I only have 7.5 months left and I have not lost ANY weight! I need to get on track PRONTO. Does anyone have any tips for motivation? It's tough because I tell myself that I only want to lose around 10-15 lbs and I have 'more' than enough time for that... even though I have been saying this since I got engaged!
I'm enjoying Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred...it's quick and gets the job done. You can find it on YouTube. :)
PS. You look wonderful! Don't stress!

Being on myfitnesspal has helped keep me honest with myself. I'm back on a primarily 'clean' gluten-free low-sodium vegan diet with no alcohol and no caffeine. It requires a lot of time to shop and prep and plan ahead, but it works. I lost 3.5 lbs this week--and feel pretty good! I'm still only working out 2-3x a week though. I wish I was a morning person and could get up extra early to workout--but that just isn't me. I'll do anything for 5 extra minutes of snooze time in the morning lol.

Be careful how much you limit your diet. I think I've limited myself so much that anything outside of what I eat makes me sick. I've been sick on and off for about a month now...first I had two viral infections, now I have either a stomach virus or food poisoning. When I went for my first fitting, my seamstress told me I can only fluctuate with about 2-3 pounds, and I'm already down almost 3 since I went. Hopefully I won't lose any more.

I'm only strictly following this limited plan for 6 weeks. It's from the Eat To Live book by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. The endocrinologist I've been seeing knows about it and approved it. I'm 'pre-diabetic' and possibly gluten intolerant, so she wants me to limit carbs and processed foods to get my sugar under control. Once the 6 weeks is up, I will slowly incorporate some starchy vegetables and lean meats back into my diet. I was vegetarian for about 5 years and remember how sick I felt when I stopped eating clean and started to eat red meat and junk food again. It was awful. This time, I'm just trying to detox and jump start my diet. I'm eating enough beans, legumes, raw nuts and seeds for protein and dark leafies (broccoli, kale, collards) for calcium. Hopefully, it will give me the energy I need to get through working out so I can drop the 15-25 lbs I'd like to lose over the course of the next 4 months. You've been so inspirational with your transformation! You look amazing!

Congratulations!! I was on WW for such a long time got down to my goal weight and kept it off for about 2 years all without excerise. Then I discovered the gym...and put back on 10 lbs of what I think was muscle and maybe a little junk food here and there lol ! I had to leave WW because I couldn't stay at my goal weight.
My question for you...do you feel like you gain weight (muscle) when you work out? I know I shouldn't be going by the scale, but dang I hate that high number LOL
Congratulations again! You can do it!

I am FINALLY back on my grind & motivated. Not sure what took so long but something just snapped and I am focused. I have been taking classes at the gym & have gave up all sweets for the month of november. I booked my boudoir shoot for april so now its time to kick it up a notch!! I know that these wedding photos will be with me forever I refuse to be unhappy with the way I look on my wedding day!

thank you!!!
i actually haven't been going to the gym yet. i have major issues with motivation, and really wanted to give myself the chance to stick with this before i added in the gym (which i hate). i am going to give myself 1 more week solely on WW and then bring the gym back in. however, in the past when i have lost weight without being on WW, i did pack on a lot of muscle weight when i went to the gym and would get frustrated when i saw the scale. it's hard when you work so hard and see the # go down, only to bust your @s* at the gym and see it go up again! but, it's totally normal.

thanks! i joined the online version and i am loving it. i don't have the time or the energy to go to the meetings, and i know i would be unmotivated if i started missing them. so far this online tool is working so well for me - i'm obsessive over it and i love that i can take it everywhere.
i have been talking to a lot of people and everyone i know who has used WW has such great things to say about it, particularly how it really works. i am SO pumped!!

Congrats! That's awesome keep it up.
I finally got back to working out last night. I really fell off hard there for the whole month of October practically. I am working on relosing the weight I gained back. But I got 11 months to go to get to my goal weight so I am determined. I am pleasantly surprised though I usually lose my running stamina really quick. I ran last night for the first time in a month and I was able to run for 5 mins straight without stopping which is like unheard of for me. I'm sore today but in a good way.

Woohoo, congrats on the loss! And finding the excitement/motivation! That has been the hardest part for me in the past (a side-effect of serial dieting lol).
