We just wanted to add our story to an unfortunately very long list. Our wedding was Mar 17, 2002 and we are part of the small group who actually got our video - maybe the last one before he ran. After numerous emails and unanswered calls, we finally picked up our tape Nov 29 and were told the DVD, parent copies and raw footage would be mailed after the weekend. After just finding out about what he has done to so many other people, we want to make sure the word is spread and help as many other couples as possible get at least something, anything. Our thanks to those who found out Marc for what he is and best of luck to everyone. He can't run forever - not from ****ed off brides and definitely not from the law.

Kathy, I am so happy you finally got your tapes!! I had goose bumps when I read your post. Congrats girl you deserve it. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the safe return of all the rest of the tapes.

I was also one of the brides that got SCREWED by Marc Campbell.

Lucky for me and my husband, Kathy called us.

A VERY long and emotional story short......we got our tape back of raw footage from our reception. I was in complete shock when I saw it. People told us that during our first dance, we were singing to each other and that was all I wanted to see. I don't remember it happening at the time and when I did see it, I could not stop crying. It was real finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to thank Kathy for her tireless work on all of this. She is TRULY an ANGEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One down side, our raw footage from the church was not sent yet, so I am a bit nervous about that one. We'll see.............

According to Mark (videomaker) he has been in touch with some brides to make good on their tapes...... Has anyone heard from him? Has anyone else got their tapes back?

So far, as of Saturday, we know of no brides who have received tapes. The only tapes returned were the ones Fox 5 got when they confronted him.

For me, all he has to do is put the raw footage into an envelope and mail it and then I would leave him alone. I just don't get it! How hard is that?

As for the other brides, I think he may actually be editing their tapes to finish them so he can get paid for the full job! This guy just doesn't get it.

We're waiting now to hear what Fox is going to do since Marc did not fufill his promise to send the tapes.

The announcement as to when the Problem Solvers episode is to air should come very, very soon.

I just want to say a quick note. Thanks to you ladies (unfortunatly we learned from your hurt) I have become very cautious about seeing vendors. I recently went to look at a limo company that works under 3 different names. I noticed it immediatly and made a comment to FI. When my FI asked the guy why all these names the guy said well i have so many contracts with halls, its just easier for business to use different names with halls. but its all the same company. all 3 names of the company run out of this site.

its so sad and I am so sorry for everyone who has to go through this. Thanks to you ladies though i have become more aware of vendors and notice things i probably wouldn't have noticed.

Oh My God-Ladies, my name is Michele and both my sister and i are victims of the Mark-*******! WOW I just found out about this chat from my photographer- and i cant believe how many brides were scammed. Kathy (she called me two-weeks ago,re:FOX5;only days after I found out he was gone, by driving to the empty house...I had last spoken to him the end of November when he assured me how beautiful everything was & that i should get in touch after the Holidays for everything- so i acll-the phones are disconnected- y'all know the rest) Anyway-I am so happy to hear that you got your tape but NEITHER ME OR MY SIS HAVE GOTTEN SQUAT! i HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING MORE, NO MATTER WHO I CALL- ANY NEWS?
AS for my Long-Sad-Story,made short...Mark not only has all the raw footage from both our weddings- i havent SEEN anything- but he also has the 'pre-shoot' video that we made AND he has all our growing up photos-IRREPLACABLE! for the montage that was'almost finished'.
The worst part is that our Grandad AND my husband's Aunt passed away a few weeks apart after our wedding-we are so wanting to see them again on the video!

Oh my gosh, you poor things! i just feel so terrible for you and your sister, and all of the other victimes of this SOB! it makes me so mad!

i truly hope that everything works out and you get back all of your footage and your pictures!!!! it really sounds like you gals are going to get this guy and he is going to be forced to hand everything over. please be patient and keep your chin up. you can always come to us for support!! good luck!

Mark called us last night and promised that our editted tape would be mailed out this week. He said we only had to pay once we viewed it and decided if we were happy. I guess that's ok since we do still have a contract with him. I'd rather have my raw footage edited somewhere else but our wedding was only 3 mos ago. I got his number off my caller ID. hehe. Let's see if he keeps his promises. Be sure to WATCH ALL OF your tapes before sending ANY money to this creep. I heard he has mailed people blank tapes before when he skipped town the last time under a different comapany.

When is this airing on Fox 5? I missed that part of the post.

Madshell: I completely understand what you're going thru. Marc has our baby pictures and a whole bunch of our honeymoon pictures. They are irreplaceable like you stated. The worst part is my DH only had one baby picture of himself to begin with and now marc has it (if he hasn't lost it already). he also has our 'pre shoot'. I definately do not wish this on anyone else. I get more and more upset everytime I read of a new victim.

Marc has contacted some of us and has promised to send what he owes; so far, nada! He is definitely in need of money, so I'm hoping he will actually send the tapes. Fox confronted him 2 weeks ago and he said he'd send the tapes that week. We're all still waiting.

Fox still hasn't told us when the show is airing, but it may be next week--we are waiting on confirmation and hopefully can let you all know very soon.

I'm the one who got stuck with 2 blank tapes, but at least I got my baby pics back.

If things don't happen soon, I think a bus trip of angry brides may be the best way to get our stuff.

if no resolutsion comes of this a bus trip of angry brides will make this guy cringe and want his mommy.

i wasnt affected by this guy but you can count me in on a bus trip. i am always game for a good A$$ whipping

At least fox 5 has the story and will air it. This will put out notice to everyone and will even reach many other brides who were affected by this guy and didnt know what was going on.

at least some justice is getting done and this guy will never sell another video in this town or any town again.

Mark Cambell returned my tape!!!!! A big box came today in the mail. Inside was the promised number of copies of the edited version, the raw footage, and our baby photos!!! I have not watched it yet. DH will kill me if I watch it without him! I'm so happy! I hope he did a nice job editing it. Otherwise he will not be paid!
