Re: Brentwood Country Club BRIDES
Wedding was in August. Here my honest opinion of the place.
Wedding ceremony: outside/gazebo.
Great, really nice with flowers on pedestral down the 'aisle'. Very pretty
Downside: the machine to get the golf balls started right on the other side of the tree edge during the ceremony. Frankly, I thought it was hilarious since I could not hear anything. I would have hate it if I was the bride.
The rest of the place was really nice.
Cocktail hour was great. I am not sure wether they upgraded or not. I believe the total guests was 140 or so.
The bride used the vendors BCC recommended. She had a package.
Only other down side was the length of time to get the food. They cut the cocktail hour by 30 minutes to make everybody sit down at table at 7:30pm.
Major downside: not BCC.... bunch of drunks everywhere. It ruined it for me.
I have to figure out how to attach photos. HELP!!!!!

Thank you for pointing out the golfing experience during the ceremony and the cut back on the CH. It is suppose to go to 8:00. I will make it a point to go over that with them... That was very helpful, much appreciated.

Re: Brentwood Country Club BRIDES
How much was the fantasy package at BCC and for how many people? My FH and I pretty much just got screwed at another place....we had everything set and all of a sudden, the numbers pretty much doubled from what we spoke about on the phone. There was a lot of miscommunication, until we went there last night...and ALMOST put the down payment...Oh well!! It was beautiful there though! But, I have been to a couple of weddings at BCC and actually my Aunt is getting married there on Friday...she told me how much hers was. Let's put it this way: for BCC I have heard anywhere from about $6500 to $11,000; and that is a package that includes 100-125 guests. If anyone can help me I'd REALLY appreciate it!! (OH our wedding will be October 2006~a Friday...and NOT the 13th!!)

I did not take the fantasy package, just the royal package. I'm doing a Saturday DAY wedding from 1-6pm for $10,995 w/$70 pp after the first 100. The capacity I believe is 200 at BCC. clw924 did the fantasy package and you can FM her for exact details, although I believe everything is stated in page 2/3 in this thread. The best idea is to go to the BCC web site: http://www.bccli.com/ and contact them for an appointment to speak about costs and availability. They will be more than willing to help you out!!!!!!!

Re: Brentwood Country Club BRIDES
I met the florist yesterday. There were definite upgrades, expecially for the centerpieces....I am meeting the BCC next week to do the menu and invites. Then, going to the bakery to order the cake and then to get the tuxes - fun filled day. Also stopping by the post office to submit the passport application - YAY!!Hope all is going well for the rest of you..

Re: Brentwood Country Club BRIDES
OK so Friday night I went my Aunt's wedding and she had her reception at BCC...it was rly beautiful...The only thing that was 'hard' to handle was holding 160ish people during the cocktail hr. It def was very tight in there...but it wasn't horrible...My FH and I are looking at about 130 ppl.....We think it should be good then....Now I've also been to BCC about 3 or so yrs ago and my cousin got married there...they had their ceremony there-and the wedding was outdoors and indorrs.....I would love to do that but....we're having an oct wedding and I'm not sure that's a good idea...rite? lol...Oh and when I went on Fri nite...I wasn't too impressed with the DJ BUT he wasn't HORRIBLE...The flowers were gorgeous. And The cocktail hr food was great as well as the main meal..So I think all in all it's def great for the deal we can get there! I'm just so nervous about everything rite now,,,,can u imagine how im gonna be a mth or week before our day AHHHHH...

Summer weddings at BCC have the CH outside - so people won't be too cramped inside. I'm glad everything is working out for you!

We are doing red dresses (claret), platinum/silver tuxes, and for flowers, I'm carrying red roses, but not sure what the CP or BM will be carrying.
