my BM's got their gowns from David's and had no problems at all. they only took 3 weeks to come in and they were all brand new.

I'd like to point out that while they screwed up on ordering our BM dresses thus putting a rather sour taste in my mouth that ALL of our dresses were NEW and in perfect condition. my gripe is in their inability to order the correct item...and they were rude when scheduling my fitting....not a salesperson, but an alteration person...

GREENFREAK-the girl who told you the discount was 'only' today was LYING....i bought my dress in January and in LATE Feb. I visited my mom in NC and tried the dress on there for her....I ended up buying different shoes there (before from Nine West) because they worked for me (and prevetned costly hem job), I STILL received my discount and I wasn't even in the same state! She might have wanted to get the sale really bad....i know that when i ordered the BM dresses, the sale went to the girl who origianlly helped me NOT the girl helping me that day b/c it was dresses...had i bought other things, she would've gotten the sale. that was a lame tactic used, but sometimes sales people get vicious/jealous/eager and will say anything.

i think over all girls have a good experience, but it seems that maybe LI David's need a bit of an overhaul?

All of my girls got their dresses there and we had NO problems. I guess it is pot luck sometimes.
