Ever since my FH and I got engaged random people we know ask us if they're invited to our wedding. How do you deal with that? They all say WE BETTER BE INVITED! Some are friends of Friends of ours or just acquaintances.

This happens to us all the time. MY FH is good with it and usualyl says, 'Man, Im trying to invite everyone but its getting so expensive'

We feel bad because we wish we could invite everyone but its just not possible. If its an acquaintance that you only see once in the blue that said it, just brush it off but if its someone you see a lot, explain the situation and tell them you'll really try.

yeah, you really can't feel bad about it... it's just not feasibly possible to invite everyone in the whole free world... just come up with an excuse like 'sorry we both come from big families so pretty much our wedding is all family, there's just no more room'

lol yes we get the same thing all the time..and the other day a girl that I'm not really friends with asked me how much my wedding was going to cost..

wow the nerve of some people!

I've had people ask how much we're paying.. i always say 'more than enough' thank you! yeah, like i'm really gonna sit there and talk numbers with a nosy busybody! i'm like are you my accountant?? lol

I get people asking me how much my e-ring cost.

people have no manners i'm convinced of this! lol

what is it their business what your ring cost? do they want to buy it off of you?? lol

same thing with asking how much someone's wedding is costing... do they feel like chipping in??

omg they just don't get the clue.. i can't believe they actually say 'but you got it appraised'... seriously are they gonna lose sleep tonight if they don't know? lol (they probably will!)

yes and i hate it - whoever says that is NOT invited

i even had this girl email me her new address & was like 'i better get an invitation'

not that they have to be invited but certain people TOTALLY speak to me out of the blue to ask me bout the wedding so im assuming they want an invite..but i dont kno bout that hahaha

Depending on who it is, if it's an aquaintance I'll just say that we'll have to see what we can afford.

I feel like people who are close to me shouldn't have to ask!
