We were in Killington, Vermont. FH wanted to propose at the top of the mountain, but was afraid someone would ski into us and the ring would go flying. So he waited until we got to the inn we were staying at.

In the bathroom of a hotel room...
he threw a party for my birthday in a hotel room. He made us go really early, he said he wanted to set up before anyone else got there. He kept asking me to go get things (like ice) and when I would walk back into the room he was running around. Suddenly he decided that he wanted to take a shower so he takes his travel bag into the bathroom and runs the water. Ten minutes later he runs out saying something is wrong in the bathroom and I had to come see. When I walked in the room was full of candles and rose petal were scattered every...the ring was sitting in a bed of rose petals on the toilet sit. He said he kept trying to set everything up in the living room but I kept coming back to quick.
