BEACH!! OMG, the beach bungalow in moorea was phenomenal! No bugs, nobody really around, great views... loved it! We only used the plunge pool in our bungalow in bora bora for 5 mins one day. It was kinda buggy and very chlorine-y.

I can't wait to go....I literally think about it every day and I still have 5 mos to go!

Angnick is there now...I cannot wait for her to get back. She is the first of us to stay at the new IC Thalasso on Bora Bora. Hope they have worked out some of their kinks!

Yes I saw pics of both couples in my Us Weekly that arrived in my mailbox last night...this week's issue. They all stayed at the new St. Regis on Bora Bora. Nic and Keith's suite was apparently $15k a night. Eva and Tony did an OWB that was less money but still a lot b/c it has it's own pool!!!

I've been off the boards for a while, been so busy with work and traveling overseas quite a bit.

Anyway just wanted to thank everyone for this thread, its been a huge help in planning my FP honeymoon.
87days & i'll be in paradise!
I'm staying one night at the sheraton tahiti, 4 nights at the sheraton moorea & 5 nights at the st regis bora bora.

I think you are the first one on this thread to be going to the St. Regis. I'm jealous...looks/sounds wonderful!!! You'll have to take lots of pics to share with all of us! I hear they are opening up the first sushi restaurant either in all of FP or just in all of Bora Bora...not sure. But yummy...I plan to head there to the restaurant since I'll just be 2 resorts away at the Thalasso!

how far in advance did you all book Tahiti?

i went to the travel agent yesterday and she did not have 'contract prices' yet...all she could give me was estimates based on last years prices.

im a little over 9 months away...but i want to book and make sure i get the rooms that i want

The TA's have to wait until the hotels release their new prices, and that date varies from hotel to hotel, but it seems to be around the 300 day mark. Same for the airlines.
