whoever posted about the roaches in teh owb's - i have no idea what you are talking about.. those of you staying at the ic thalasso- nothing to worry about the place is brand new and extremely clean!!!

i posted it and yes, it was true. why would i make it up? thank goodness you had a different experience!

2 friends we made on our trip (other HMers) from CA had roaches in the OWB! they didn't stay at the ICTahiti, i can't remember where they stayed. but they had roaches!

oh my goodness, i am so sorry for you. that is so awful. did u end up changing your room? wow. Well, if we did have roaches, thankfully i did not see them. which hotel did u stay at?

I would maybe expect roaches in Tahiti but not on Bora Bora (esp not at Thalasso!!!)

Guess what!!!!!! I leave Monday at 5pm for Tahiti!.... I can't wait.... I am looking forward to that more than the wedding tomorrow!. I will be sure to have plenty of pics for ya!..... in my opinion, u dont need a bump. the coach seats are fine cause they dont over book the flight so you can just take the middle seats and make a bed for yourself, that is what DH and i did!!!!!!!

We are thinking of splurging the day we get to the airport to business class for the way home. i believe its cheaper if they have availablility youi just pay the diffrence there!

One nite Aug 14th at the Radisson,
Cruise departs the 15th, comes back the 25th, staying one nite onnnnnnnnnnnnnn

We paid for almost everything with our credit cards. When we booked excursions at our hotel desk they just added it to the room bill.

We wound up only using about $500 I cash which we got from the ATM machines.

Word to the wise: my mastercard (which did have Cirrus and NYSE symbols) did not work in Moorea or Bora Bora ATMs. Only my DH's VISA worked.

Hi Girls,

We just got back from Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora two weeks ago and it was amazing. The Intercontinental Thalasso is incredible - so remote, exotic and the views are breathtaking. You will not be disappointed if you booked this hotel. Here are some photos from the Intercontinental Thalasso. I will work on a review this weekend. Good luck to everyone that booked a trip to Tahiti. You will have the time of your life!
