We changed our trip and didn't have to pay a fee. Just the difference in the rates at the hotels. We have the cancellation and change insurance in our package thought, so there isn't a fee to make changes. Don't know about your package, guess your travel agent will know best.

We are staying at the Thalasso and are so so excited!

3 night le ta haa

my fi wants the newsest and best.. so we are trying to revise our interary to get us into Thalasso.
not to mention i've read so many negative reviews about Ta haa that i think i rather go to Thalasso where i know for sure we wont be disappointed!

What if you took one day off of Tahiti-switched your room in Moorea to a garden bungalow then you could probably afford an extra night at Thalasso in Bora Bora. Just a thought-you can't go wrong either way!!

Thalasso is AMAZING! You will not be sorry! Tahaa does not hold a candle to it - as you know DH and I felt Tahaa was just a waste of time after being at Thalasso for 5 nights! Tahaa would be fine if you went there before Thalasso...definitely not after though. Thalasso is like a dream - I literally think about it every day and wish I could go back! You will love it there!!!

we figured out everyhing- and we were going to do moorea and Huahini for around 4k.
then i let responsibilites get the best of me and we decided that it would be wiser to spend the money on the house..

so unless dh surprises me, we are going to stick to our original plan and go to napa in sept and go back to tahiti for our 5 year.

oh well!

Can anyone please FM TA's that you recommend and pricing so I can get an idea?
I'm getting married Jan 08 and am looking to do :
*an OWB in Bora Bora for about 4-5 nights and *another more affordable island for 4-5 nights. *Any suggestions for hotels? So far I head IC Thalasso, Bora Bora Nui, St. Regis (too expensive) are nice...

Has anyone booked through any website online or do you recommend local TAs?

Thalasso is all booked! How sad is that! we were so close! damn! I feel bad b/c my fi had planned the whole hm as a surprise and he feels like he disappointed me! he said he wants the best for us and was totally down for upgrading to Thalasso and getting rid of ta haa.
i feel horrible and spoiled.

so we are prob. going to stick with our original itinerary which is still amazing!
and since we are not doing Thalasso, i dont think we will be disappointed with le Ta haa...

i find that many brides that went to Thalasso and then Ta Haa were very disappointed...

i think we will be fine!

And girls I am finally onto the last section of my review....just finishin up Tahaa and hope to post it with pics later today or by end of the week!
It's VERY long and VERY detailed! Hope it doesn't put anyone to sleep!

oh gosh that's too bad about the Thalasso! I am sure you will be okay though with your original plan. I've seen alot of photos the Le Tahaa and it looks beautiful!
