same stay in Moorea but
Bora Bora either Le Meridien, Pearl OWB with food
for 10,500
Im debating which one to go with

I'd go with this one and choose the bora bora Pearl (owb). We LOVED this resort!

Also, i'd eliminate having dinner included... there are way too many great places to go eat, you don't want to be stuck eating at the resort every night (and then if you don't eat there it'll be a waste of money). I'd keep breakfast in there though, we ate breakfast every morning at each resort. Good luck in your decision... either way you're going to have an amazing time!

We had a lovely romantic Dinner at Villa Mahana
in Bora Bora.

Its a very small restaurant and you need to make reservations before hand and they will come to your hotel to pick you up. Oh, and ask for upper table.

I enclosed the Email Address for Damien (he is the chef and owner)

[email protected]
Enjoy your Honeymoon!

THANKS!

I just returned from Bora Bora and I HIGHLY recommend La Villa Mahana. Make sure you bring a shawl or light jacket for the upper table.

Re: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.) Honeymoons!!!!!!

Hey there!

I've never posted on one of these message boards but came across this as I'm desperately trying to get information on my honeymoon to Bora Bora/French Polynesia. My fiancé and I have already booked flights for our 8 night/9 day stay. We were going to try and squeeze 3 Islands into our trip but we decided to visit 2 Islands and not try and stretch ourselves too thin. Afterall, it's our honeymoon so we should relax!

We are deciding between going to Bora Bora and Tahaa or going to Bora Bora and Moorea. Any thoughts? Has anyone spent some time on both Tahaa and Moorea and could give some insight into the differences? I’m all about relaxing, and my fiance is all about being active so we’re trying to find a balance between beach time and active things (hiking, renting a scooter ect.)

Also, for Bora Bora we are debating whether to stay at the Intercontinental Moana or the Bora Bora Lagoon and Spa. Any thoughts here?

Thanks!!
-Galeet

Re: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.) Honeymoons!!!!!!

Hey ladies..French Polynesia is one of the many places i've been thinking about for a honeymoon. I just want to know what nightlife is like though...are there any night activities that can keep my FH and I occupied for 10+ days? Did any of you find that it got boring after a while?

We are seriously considering FP. However, if nightlife is important to you, my best friend went 2 years ago and said hopping during day, but NO night life. Our travel agent who lives in Moorea says the same, as do many of the travel books.

Re: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.) Honeymoons!!!!!!

We weren't bored at all! There is tons to do during the day. Lots of excursions and water activities. There wasn't anything to do at night except go out to dinner or a walk on the beach.
cheers! Tahiti is a pretty quiet romantic place.

Re: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.) Honeymoons!!!!!!

we were not bored either! We were actually so tired from the activities during the day that we were in bed by 10 p.m. most of the time...the first day I think I slept like 15 hours straight b/c I was so exhausted from the wedding!!! I definitely recommend it...it was very relaxing!
