Just saw on channel 7 news that Britney Spears had another incident with the car seat and baby Preston.

The picture shows him in the back seat of her convertible slumped over. But I can't find the picture!

They're reporting about it on Channel 7's evening news.

NEW YORK - May 16, 2006 Paparazzi have caught Britney Spears doing something else with her baby that's upsetting people.

Front-page photos in both the New York Post and Daily News show the Kentwood native driving her convertible Mini-Cooper with her eight-month-old son Sean Preston in the back, sitting in a baby seat facing frontward. Child safety advocates prefer that kids less than a year old sit in car seats facing backward.

California officials say Spears won't be cited.

Each paper had similar headlines playing on the Spears' song 'Oops, I Did It Again.' Regis Philbin said on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' that he thought it was a coicidence to have similar headlines. Ripa had to explain to him that it was the title of a Spears song.

One other thing about the photos: they show Spears driving with curlers in her hair.

Paul McCartney, Heather Mills Split

Sir Paul McCartney and his wife of four years, former model and anti-landmine advocate Heather Mills, are separating.

'Having tried exceptionally hard to make our relationship work given the daily pressures surrounding us, it is with sadness that we have decided to go our separate ways,' the couple said in a joint statement.

'Our parting is amicable and both of us still care about each other very much but have found it increasingly difficult to maintain a normal relationship with constant intrusion into our private lives, and we have actively tried to protect the privacy of our child,' the statement continued.

'Separation for any couple is difficult enough, but to have to go through this so publicly, especially with a small daughter, is immensely stressful. We hope, for the sake of our baby daughter, that we will be given some space and time to get through this difficult period.'

The couple married in June 2002 in a $3.2 million wedding in Northern Ireland. Their daughter, Beatrice Milly, was born in October 2003.

McCartney, 63, and Mills, 37, met through her charity work, the Heather Mills Heath Trust, which provides prosthetic limbs to the needy and campaigns against landmines.

Mills – who now carries the title of Heather, Lady McCartney – formed the initiative after losing the lower part of her leg in a 1993 motorcycle accident.

The U.K. press has reported recently that McCartney and Mills have been living apart in the past few weeks. Mills's rep at first denied marital woes, telling PEOPLE, 'She's getting a new leg fitted, and she's (in Hove), near where she's having it done. Paul's being very supportive.'

NBC News reported Wednesday morning that Mills, who has said McCartney turned down her offer to sign a prenuptial agreement, could claim as much as a quarter of McCartney's estimated $1.5 billion fortune.

McCartney has three children from his 29-year marriage to the former Linda Eastman, who died of breast cancer in 1998. They are Mary, 36, a photographer; Stella, 34, a fashion designer; and James, 28, a musician. McCartney also has a stepdaughter, Heather, 43, from Eastman's first marriage.

LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Katie Holmes is reportedly exhausted and 'constantly in tears' since giving birth to daughter Suri - sparking speculation she could have the baby blues.

According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, friends say the actress breaks down and cries and seems 'emotional and very tired' since she and fiancé Tom Cruise welcomed their baby girl last month.

She has also been spotted looking red-eyed at the plush Beverly Hills mansion she shares with the 'Mission: Impossible III' actor, who last year slammed Brooke Shields for admitting taking anti-depressants for post-natal depression.

One friend is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: 'Katie told pals it's natural for new mums to experience strong emotions.'

Meanwhile, Katie isn't wasting time getting back into shape - she has already signed up for a fitness programme so she's back to her pre-baby weight on her wedding day.

The 'Batman Begins' beauty has reportedly met with Sue Fleming, the owner of Buff Brides, a company that specialises in getting women toned for their nuptials.

Jennifer and Gwyneth are reportedly planning to co-star in a

The movie has been tentatively scheduled to begin filming in 2008
which will allow both actresses to fulfill their current commitments
to other projects.

Singer JENNIFER LOPEZ is reportedly expecting her first child with husband MARC ANTHONY, according to media reports in the US.

Lopez appeared at the ALMA Awards in Los Angeles on 7 May (06), sporting what appeared to be a small bump and telltale grey roots. The following day (08MAY06), the star abruptly cancelled her first concert tour without giving an explanation, further fuelling rumours of a pregnancy.

Sources tell US publication In Touch the LOVE DON'T COST A THING star is three months pregnant and that the baby will be born around Christmas (06).

Anthony spoke publicly of having a baby with Lopez at the event saying, 'I'm looking forward to starting a family.'

Lopez was scheduled to tour this month (MAY06), with dates in Mumbai (Bombay), India; Dubai; Moscow, Russia: Sofia, Bulgaria; Istanbul, Turkey; and Thessaloniki, Greece. The singer has been threatened with legal action by the tour's promoters, who have promised to issue full refunds to ticket holders.

Bulgarian promoter NINA GIRGINOVA says, 'Whatever the reason is, she should have explained it, and even if she had lied it would have been better than not giving the fans any reason at all.'

May 17, 2006 -- DON'T put Mariah Carey in the same room as Christina Aguilera.
Without any prompting, Aguilera talked out of school about the multiplatinum-selling songbird to GQ, and now the two are engaged in a full-fledged feud.

The recently married Aguilera started the catfight when she told the June issue of GQ: 'She was never cool to me. To the point that one time we were at a party and I think she got really drunk, and she had just really derogatory things to say to me in front of [Aguilera trails off] . . . But it was at that time that she had that breakdown, so she might have been very medicated.'

[For the record, Carey has never been anything but a sweetheart with Page Six].

Carey and her manager, Benny Medina, were shocked to hear Aguilera slag her off and immediately responded.

'I had hoped that Christina was in a better place now than the last time I saw her, when she showed up uninvited at one of my parties and displayed questionable behavior,' the duo e-mailed to Us Weekly.

'It is sad yet predictable that she would use my name to reinvent past incidents for her promotional gain. It is in my heart to forgive, and I will keep her in my prayers.'



Aguilera immediately sent out a mea culpa statement. 'At this point in my life,' she said, 'I do not want bad energy with anyone. My intentions were not to upset Mariah. I have all the respect in the world for her.'

Aguilera has said that since she married Jordan Bratman last year, she wants to clean up her 'Dirrty' image. But she poses naked in GQ with nothing but artfully draped bedsheets hiding her naughty bits.

Meanwhile, although married life may be grand for Aguilera, 25, some of her friends she can do without. Things took a nasty turn at a raucous party last month.

'A close friend of Christina's had sex on her sofa and someone urinated on her white shag carpet,' Us quotes a source as saying.

Tony Nods for Oprah, Not Julia


Oprah Winfrey, Harry Connick Jr. and Ralph Fiennes are in the running for Broadway's biggest prize – the Tony Award – while other famous names of the current theater season, including Julia Roberts and David Schwimmer, have been left out in the cold.

'The Color Purple,' which Winfrey helped produce, is up for 11 Tonys – including best musical. The show, based on Alice Walker's novel, was also a 1984 Steven Spielberg movie that gave Winfrey her launching pad to stardom.

Connick earned a nod for his role in the revival of the 1950's musical 'The Pajama Game,' which garnered a total of nine nominations.

Fiennes's nomination, for best leading actor in a drama, is for 'Faith Healer.' He'll be competing against, among others, Huff actor Oliver Platt, up for his performance in 'Shining City.'

Roberts, however, was bypassed for her work in the critically panned Richard Greenberg drama 'Three Days of Rain,' as were her costars Paul Rudd and Bradley Cooper. The show was nominated, however, for its set design.

Also overlooked: Schwimmer, who stars in 'The Caine Mutiny Court Martial.'

Other top nominees include the 1920s pastiche 'The Drowsy Chaperone,' which leads the musical field with 13 nods. The other best musical nominee is 'The Wedding Singer,' based on the 1998 movie that starred Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.

Tied at eight nods are the musical 'Jersey Boys,' the gritty show-biz tale of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and the revival of the Clifford Odets drama 'Awake and Sing!'

'The History Boys,' Alan Bennett's drama about a group of boisterous students trying to get into Oxford or Cambridge, received seven nominations, including for best play.

I am sooooo glad she is having another baby Isn't it dangerous in itself to be driving a convertible with an infant riding in it-whether or not they are strapped in properly? If that thing flips over or something falls on them, the child has no chance. oh well.
