(May 11, 11:00AM ET) -- Chris Daughtry will get an offer tonight to front a famous band. It will unfold on the television show 'EXTRA.'


Members of the band will appear on the 'EXTRA' set to make the offer.


In a stunning turn of events, Daughtry, who was the odds-on favorite to win the 'American Idol' competition, was booted last night.


Daughtry was on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show in Los Angeles this morning, where the 'A.I.' host, who is in on the secret, urged the singer to watch 'EXTRA' tonight.


TMZ knows the name of the band, but we're sworn to secrecy. But trust us, it's a big deal. Watch 'EXTRA' tonight.

May 12. The National Enquirer is reporting that Whitney Houston has recently been diagnosed with a deadly brain tumor. That might explain some of her recent behavior - which has been outrageous even by her standards.

In the last month Whitney has been reported to have developed an insatiable sex drive that causes her to engage in lesbian sex and hour-long masturbation sessions. Houston has also reportedly turned to mutilating herself - and claiming that the injuries were caused by imaginary demons.

Doctors agree though, that with the successful treatment of the tumor, the patient typically returns to normal.

But Whitney doesn't seem to want to get treatment. According to the National Enquirer Whitney and Bobby are separated and Whitney is claiming that she's never coming back. She's also reportedly not following up with her doctor. Bobby, who the tabloid reports is 'crying all the time', is reportedly at his wit's end worrying about his wife's health.

Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon has dismissed rumours that her marriage to fellow actor Ryan Phillippe is undergoing difficulties.

The Legally Blonde star insists that the media has warped comments she has made about her marriage.

She told TeenHollywood: 'It's sad to see that when you're honest and talk about the normal ups and downs that it gets taken out of context.'

Witherspoon has two children with Phillippe, five-year-old daughter Ava and two-year-old son Deacon. She added: 'Ryan and I have a great marriage. I see him as not only my husband, but my best friend.'

May 4. Talk show host Star Jones refuses to talk about how she managed to lose more than 100 pounds. But tabloids have reported that Jones achieved her massive weight loss by undergoing gastric bypass surgery at a San Diego hospital.

MediaTakeOut.com has just learned that the hospital where Star is reported to have undergone the surgery is warning its patients that they may have been exposed to HIV. Administrators at Scripps Memorial Hospital in San Diego told patients yesterday that because a nurse failed to properly clean instruments used in stomach-reduction surgery, they may have been exposed to the virus.

According to Don Stanziano, a spokesman for the hospital, 'the risk (of HIV exposure) is extremely low but to be safe and take every precaution, we are having blood drawn and tested.' Stanziano also told MediaTakeOut.com that state health officials are investigating the nurse's failure to properly sterilize the equipment.

Scripps Memorial Hospital is one of the leading hospitals in the area of weight management. The hospital gained international recognition when it cybercast the gastric bypass of former football star Anthony Davis.

Yeah, hate them. Halle Berry and her model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, took a stroll through SoHo in NYC yesterday. Let this be a warning to all women, men, children, old people to never date this man. If Halle dates him, there must be something wrong with him. She can really pick out the winners.

Hilton Causes Stir at Video Game Expo

Paris Hilton unveiled her new video game on Thursday, but inexplicably called it by the wrong name as she greeted throngs of fans and photographers.

Wearing a green minidress and red platform pumps, Hilton made a brief appearance at the Electronic Entertainment Expo to promote 'Paris Hilton's Jewel Jam.'

'Sorry I'm late,' the heiress said. 'I'm really excited to have my new video game, 'Diamondquest.' Thank you all for coming, and you can download the game,' she said.

After Hilton arrived, men in business suits jockeyed for space with reporters and computer geeks as she sat at a table posing for photographers while signing autographs.

Her game, which can be played on a cell phone, will be available this summer. Video game maker Gameloft will produce a series of video games with Hilton.

The expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center showcases the latest innovations in the video game industry.
