Re: is it cheesy to wear bridal sneakers?
Well, sneakers with an elegant ballgown definitely not my style but it's YOUR day so do and wear whatever YOU want, it's really that simple.
Just one thing - do NOT go into this with the delusion that 'no one will see your feet anyway'. That is just not true and I don't know who came up with that anyway. Even Kristin (june26) said it but there she is in her pictures, not doing the garter toss and you can see her feet!! NOT a bad thing -- I'm just pointing out that your feet WILL be seen and WILL come out in pictures so don't make your shoe choice based on the misconception that no one will see your feet.

Sandra I agree BUT I also wasn't embarrased of my shoes. I posed for the pictures of my Flip Flops. AND I said if you want you can always change your shoes for the garter toss.

Personally, I wouldn't go with the sneakers. I like the idea of having an extra pair of nice low heeled shoes that are comfortable. However, the most important thing is that you are comfortable, and if sneakers is it, then go for it.

Exactly! And I don't think you should have been embarrassed either - that's the point. Don't wear shoes that you think should stay hidden all day because you may want to photograph them or pose in certain ways where they will show.
For the record, I think your pictures came out really cute Kristin.

Thank you Sandra! I loved your dress. I see your point now. If you want them hidden don't do it!

I don't think sneakers are cheesy, just not my style. I am going with pretty/comfy ballet slippers.
