i thought the armani statues were more expensive then the lladro ones? i found cute little girls ones at 65m bucks and for the BM's like 95 bucks. that's more money then the armani ones?
I think that's the brand that imitates Iladro. me and my mom found the same statues here in bklyn - they look identical to Iladro but when u look on the bottom of the statue it says Nao. the ones we saw were the same prices too - 65 for the flowergirl and 95 for the bridesmaids so they might actually be the same ones. the same Iladro statue that i saw for $95 is $265 at Fortunoffs.

since easter is coming up really soon i was wondering if u girls have any italian easter traditions u follow in your housei guess i'll start: our traditions are having the lamb on holy saturday and then rabbit on easter sunday. my mom makes cassatte con ricotta during Holy week (they're sooo yummy) and even though i'm almost 24 my mom always gets me a marianella or baci perugina easter egg and the crazy part is i still break it open just to find out what the toy on the inside is

My mom makes veal Easter Sunday - and chicken cutlets because none of us 'kids' eat the veal...it's been like this since we really were 'kids'
and she makes torta di patate...OMG my absolute fave dish...its so yummmy....and of course the chocolate easter eggs...they don't make the prizes like they use to though...I rember getting some really cool things in that egg...Do any of you remember getting these really cute easter baskets when you were younger? My father use to buy one for me and my sister and all my cousins from the Italian deli's...they looked like little purses not baskets and they had pictures of ducks, bunnies, flowers on them but the pictures were crocheted on with a rafia type string...so it kinda puffed out from the bag???
I don't know if I'm expalining them right...I LOVED them and I wish I could find them -

You have to playt amo,
l'emozioni non ha voce,
lasciate mi cantare- l'taliano,
sara perche ti amo (the new version is great!)
felicita,
marzurche (it's like an Italian polka you know the music you can dance with your aunt to!),
vivo per le,
so many more I have to think of them.
I'm having an Italian band too (Voices) and I can't believe they changed Lauretta to your first name Rosaria that must have been so nice. I have that song and I play it over and over also mamma for the sons.

my mom found out yesterday that it's not imitation like we thought. Iladro actually makes them under a different brand: Nao. They're the same style of Iladro, only difference is they're ALOT cheaper which is great
