We had to guarantee 200 - the room fits a max. of 260 and it looks like we're inviting close to 275 I just hope everyone fits in the room lol

I am not sure of any specific songs, but if you go to walmart.com, you can most likely listen to some..

That is how we chose all of our songs

i got a list of possibilities and then listened to them on walmart.com.

You can hear a small part, but if you want the whole song it is $0.88/song

Hi Ladies,

Another Italian American Bride here...and I have reviewed this thread and some of the others from 2004, but I really in dire need of help.

I know the typical father daughter songs in italian to dance with your father. (Lauretta Mia, Figlia Mia) I was wondering what other Italian songs are out there.

Any suggestions would be great...as you can see I have only 11 days before my wedding. I have violated company chat policy just so I can get this answer.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

TARANTELLA!!! HHAHAHA! I know it's so lame but I LOVE the tarantella!! & I know it's really not traditionally an italian thing, its more american- but i MUST have frank sinatra.. LOTS of frank sinatra and dean martin

The almonds are a MUST HAVE at any italian wedding.. the nonno's, nonna's, zio's and zia's will just DIE if theres no almonds on the bonbonierie!

I'm so excited that there are so many of us out there!!!!

My parents are from Bagnara, Calabria - I've been there 3 times and itis beautiful. Love a turre (sp?)

Still haven't decided on a dad song or favors..I really don't want to hand out mikasa b/c everyone does that, can anyone help????

p.s. we're having the tripe at our CH and i cant wait - the first time my fi ate dinner at my parents house, i convinced him to try some tripe...yeah, he spit it out in his napkin in front of my dad. i was mortified but figured he must be the one b/c at least he wasn't fake like most guys...

Aiuta me!!! Songs and favors - suggestions? I live in FL so I can't hop over the bridge to the sposa store, do they have a website? Floridians have no clue about Italian NY wedding favor requirements....
