LMAO. I AM having the 'Spanish Station'....pallea and plantains at cocktail hour. If you're blending with lots of other stations, it works fine. Did he want tostones though? That would be tough, my RH only has sweet plantains...they would probably at tostones.

hmmm, i dunno. platanos are like....too casual. i'm picturing tostones and mofongo stations, hahahhah.

then again. i've been to sofrito in the city and they have a nice appetizer with a toston with a little shrimp on top. that's pretty nice presentation. so yes, if u find a way to have it done that way i would say do it!

I went to a wedding were they had a large spanish station in the CH and it was yummy, included platanos..lol

I am sure everyone would enjoy it, but it is wise to mix it with other plates

I'm Dominican but am not having platanos at the wedding. Some places offer Spanish Stations that may have it.. I just think it's too casual. Don't get me wrong.. I LOVE ME SOME TOSTONES and MOFONGO uuuuuuuuuh that's my comfort food.. FH always gets me one when he know's I've had a bad week.. tee hee!!
