Hi! We are using Ultimate Sound DJ's. they are out of Queens, and all of their DJ's either, Colombian, Puerto Rican, Dominican. They specialize in Spanish parties. HTH!

We are using them too !! Fiance is Italian and Irish and I'm Puerto Rican... they seemed to offer the best of both worlds for us personally.

Hi Ladies,

I'm laura I am second generation Puerto Rican/Mexican/Irish FH is Italian/Irish/Polish

I will be wearing a matilla veil and will have live salsa music. I really want a mariachi band for CH but we'll see what the budget allows.

I am using Vision for my band but if anyone is looking for an authentic salsa/top 40 band check out the Edwin Vazquez band! They were my second choice.

I'm hoping my dad and I can break out into a little salsa dance during the father daughter dance to liven things up a bit.

Seems like this thread has faded and I'm going to be the one to re-live it!! LOL. FH & I come from Mexican Families. One way we are incorporating our culture in the wedding is that we will have a Mariachi Band play during the ceremony mass and cocktail hour. We might have a Mexican Band play at our reception along with a DJ as well. It will be one loud party thats for sure. We are also doing the traditional Arras & Lazo during our church ceremony.

Good ? I think The ceremony will be bilingual, but after that everything will be in Spanish. Haven't really thought of any other way to include my culture

Most of my family speaks spanish so the ceremony has to be in spanish or bilingual. I would say 70% of my wedding will be in spanish.
