In suffolk county we had a roller rink called 'Good Skates' and I would wear my acid wash jeans, leg warmers, and this half shirt w/ beads that dangled from it!!!

Also remember those 'hyperglo (or some name like that)' shirts where it would change colors if you put a warm hand on it?!?!

I used to go to Good Skates! I also used to go to USA 'United Skates of America'. We used to skate to Disco Duck... Funny how it all seems so silly now...

I used to love going to the Long Island Arena flea market to get all my 80s attire. It was the best place and of course right next door to the Commack Roller Rink!

How about those two tone jeans. One color in the front and another one in the back.
ID shirts-the ones that look faded and then you roll up the sleeves and see the true colors.
How about those tight Farlow jeans???

STIFF STUFF (hairspray!)

I had the biggest hair on the island!!! (my father used to say that he would check my hair for low flying birds when i came home!! LOL..

and SHOPPERS VILLIAGE!!!! i think i actually lived there for a while!!!
