Re: Remember the 80's?
You ladies have me laughing out loud at my desk! Thanks for all of these wonderful (and a little embarassing) memories. We used to shop at Shoppers Village to get outfits for rollerskating at Walcliff (in Elmont)-it became Roller Castle at some point.
'Flashdance' sweatshirts with tight, tight Sergio Valente jeans, leg warmers, blue roses lipstick, and lots of Aqua Net.
Cruising on 86th street...cranking Buffalo Girls, High energy (your love is lifting me), Play at your own risk...my cugina cousin had the coooooolest Monte Carlo and a boyfriend who was a break dancer! LOL!!!!

Wearing more than one pair of slouch socks at a time?
I think that's all I can come up with. I was thinking Cavaricci's, but someone beat me to it!
Oh well!
Thanks for the laughs girls!
Edited to ask: Milli Vanilli was the 80's??? Gee, I'm getting old!

Just thought of another one, all those pocketbooks with the big rhinestones on them. I remember my friends and I used to put rhinestones on our shirts.
