How can we get to your album??
At the top of your page, there's a tab called 'Community' within that are the albums, you can look it up by M&M's LiWedding name.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
M&M07/03/05It looks like you had a great time and you look so happy.
On equestion though - Did you have a hard time getting people up to dance? FI is worried since its a daytime reception and the room is so bright no one will dance - although his family aren't the biggest partiers anyway.
Thanks!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
~ we took pix before the ceremony at old westbury gardens (HIGHLY recommended!!!)~ my dj/mc (body rock) did a GREAT job getting people up and dancing. i don't think the day/night thing had any factor. it was a enegetic set of music and a fun 'balls out' (not classy or sophisticated) party (exactly what we wanted) so people partied hard!
~ we ended up with exactly 110 people. (our minimum)

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I have a question..Is anyone doing a shuttle service for their guests for after the reception? They are staying at the best western and don't provide shuttles..
is my best bet a taxi service that can send a few cars? What do you do?
Thanks in advance!

good questions, did you already block rooms? if so, how far in advance. How does all that work?

I already blocked 15 rooms at the Inn at Fox Hollow (right next door.) You have to call them up, speak to a gentleman named (Um...forgot his name) he'll send over a contract, you sign it, and you're set.
HOw it works: You have to guarantee that 1/2 of the rooms you block get booked at least one month in advance. If you do not get half, you have to pay for the ones that did not book. It's a good idea to get the minimum (I believe 7) and then add more if you need it.
Most of the hotels around there worked like that. I wanted to block rooms at the Executive Inn, but it was just pointless to have people spread out like that. I know the Inn is pretty expensive ($209) but you can shove a good amount of people in the room and they can share...LOL - at least that's my family's doing.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Okay, since most of us have been freaking out lately, I just called FH and spoke with a very nice gentleman named Julio (something or other) - here are the questions & answers:1) Chair Covers for the Winter Garden Room - no they're not provided by FH, they paint them often enough, but if you'd like to get chair covers, refer to their list of vendors (shocker)
2) The Inn at Fox Hollow - A bridal suite is provided free of charge during the Months of January and February
3) Rates of the Inn are set by the hotel - you must contact them to arrange the pricing information
4) If you have a mini-viennese hour - there's no additonal time added to your 4 hour reception, it's 'blended' in during the coffee/dessert/cake time
5) Tastings are provided by coming to their Restaurant (Rose Hunt) - they will not charge you for entree's
6) One Year Anniversary Complimentary Dinner - a few of us have it, and a few of us don't. Speak to your BM and they can arrange something for you.
7) FRANK MARINO is still with FH. It's FRANK ACIERNO that is no longer with FH
Hope this has helped!
