Which gazebo are you using for your ceremony?

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
The gazebo you get depends on which room you book. If you do the outside cocktail hour and garden room, you get the gazebo by the pool. The gazebo by the lake is for the inside cocktail hour and upstairs room.I was told that if there is no other function there the same day as me, I could choose the gazebo I wanted. What are the chances of that?

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
I know that the day we selected there is no other ceremony, just a reception that starts after ours. So I started to think about whether one gazebo might be better suited for the size of my bridal party and for photos during the ceremony. Also, what type of extras have you been able to negoitate into your deal?

Off the top of my head, they threw in the Int'l Coffee and Cordial Bar. I think there may have been something else, but I can' remember right now.I had no idea they did menus either. That is great!

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
I can't decide. I think I want to stay in the hotel where my out of town guests will be... and since everything is right at WCC I can drive myself there.... but getting to the hotel is the question. Plus my bridal party and FILs and parents.... someone suggested a limo bus.... but I plan to check out hotels and see if they offer vans.

When I booked with them, they gave me a list of their vendors and hotels to stay at near WCC, I think it may be on their web site too.

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
I guess if you are getting dressed there then you can drive there yourself but if you want the whole pictures coming out the limo, then i guess take the limo there. I don't know the lowest I got was $300 + svc charge. I am wondering if its worth it for two trips?????

I booked the Huntington Hilton for my guest and also a suite for us for that night. The room rate for the guests was $129/night.They have a shuttle you can rent for $300 plus gratuity.

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
My reception was there on July 4, 2003 and I cannot say enough good things about this place. Everything from start to finish couldn't have been more perfect.Peter was our banquet manager and he was very easy to deal with and really made me feel comfortable. All of my guests raved about it and my husband and I were very happy that our reception was so nice.
I just got DSL, so I will try to post up some pictures of the outside and inside. We had the garden suite too and it was fabulous!
Good luck to all of you! best Wishes!
Karen

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
I go the international coffee/cordial bar thrown in, as well as the caribbean bar (frozen drinks) during the cocktail hour (a big hit especially in July). I think we also go miniture desserts on each of teh tables. It never hurts to ask!
We also got there so early, I was able to take pictures on the bridge over the lake (if you are in the Garden room you are only supposed to get the courtyard/pool area).
I will post some pictures tonight! I haven't been on here for so long, I can't believe that it's almost a year! It goes so fast ladies!

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
It's a town ordinance that you cannot play amplified music outside. Don't worry, my dj put a couple of speakers outside and you could hear the music (during the cocktail hour).

Please post your pics! I would love to see them! I was told that since I am getting there so early (9am) to do pictures, we could use the bridge over the lake also. I am so excited!

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
I blocked the Executive Inn, it's about a half mile away for WCC, I was quoted $112, which was the lowest price from any of the surrounding hotels near Woodbury
If you want their info, FM me
