Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
I wouldn't think anything of it because people leave jobs allthe time. In the catering business, BM move on all the time. And when you are planning a wedding, you are booking so far in advance that you don't really know if that person will be there. That is why it's usually good to wait for a few months before the wedding before they assign a BM. I think this goes with all catering places. I am not worried about it at all. As long as they have everything the way it is supposed to be from my request on my wedding date after you have already discussed it with your BM a few months before the wedding and it is in writing, no problem.

There was one in the winter but I dont know of the next one. Do you want to go to a tasting? All I did was make an appointment for one and me, FI and my parents went there. The food was delicious!

No... that doesnt make sense to me. I wanted to taste the food before I booked the place, you know? What if the food was not good. I went on a Saturday before a wedding and they just took some of their food I guess. After I tasted the food and saw the service, then we booked right there.

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
I remember going to the showcase in the winter and then I had a tasting a couple of months later. Peter was by banquet manager and he was a pleasure to deal with.I think someone asked me about my bridesmaids' flowers. They were pale pink roses, white roses and blue delphinium (sp). I will post pics of our flowers this weekend (my scanner is not working!).

Thank you!
I was very happy with Glenmar Studios. I was also very happy with Flowers by Matthew. Both of these were recommended by Woodbury and I'm glad I used them!

Anyone having (or had) a chocolate fountain at WCC? Do they allow it? Where do they set it up?Also if you have a buttercream wedding cake, does it sit at its own table next to the dais throughout the reception?

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
Woodbury allows the chocolate fountain, I called them last week. You need to infrom them in writing. As far as the cake goes, it usually sits at it's own table next to the sweetheart table
