Woodbury allows the chocolate fountain, I called them last week. You need to infrom them in writing.

As far as the cake goes, it usually sits at it's own table next to the sweetheart table

What do you mean 'in writing'? The contract with the bakery providing it? Are you having one? TIA

No, you need to write Woodbury yourself telling them you will be having a chocolate fountain and the info of the vendor. It's probaly just to rid themselves of any responsibilty if something goes wrong with it.

I am still waiting for Audrey's to get back to me. I may not make my minimum, so I will go for my menu on Monday and see if they'll throw in something extra. If I do get the Viennese, I prob won't do the CF

Hi there wcc girls!

i wanted to share this with you!! my FH and i took our photographer there b/c she wanted to see the grounds, get some ideas, etc. so we took her and her assistant before we went to take our e-pics. EVERYONE at wcc was AMAZING. we were talking to some of the waiters, BMs, and who ever else was there, they were so sweet! we were so happy that we booked there, but after going there again, we were psyched!! whhooo hoo

i cannot wait. OMG OMG OMG!!!

I got married at Woodbury on July 17th. I could not be more impressed with the place. My review is on the bridal review. any questions please FM. They were amazing.

If I would have known about the fountain, I would have defintely had it at my wedding (this was unheard of a year ago).

For my cocktail hour, I did get them to throw in the caribbean bar (frozen and mixed drinks).

For dessert, I got them to throw in the international coffee/cordials bar and plates of desserts on each table.

It never hurts to ask!

I was told you can have any cake but not too elaborate and no fondant b/c the baker doesnt do that. So print a bunch of pictures and bring them, thats what I did and they accepted my favorite.

I have a question though, do they charge extra if you want 2 tiers one flavor and the other 2 tiers and different flavor?

If you don't mind me jumping in here. My daughter's wedding cake at WCC was gorgeous but with the elaborate Viennese hour we were all too stuffed to really enjoy the taste. I would suggest go for the look and it will be great regardless of the flavor you choose.
Also, I might add we had 200 guests, and the cake looked huge. If you want to see it I posted it under My Wedding - photo album. But in the end everyone got a tiny sliver. If we didn't have the extra desserts with the Viennese hour I would have been embarrassed.

Great pics karen!

Does anybody know what kind of music you are allowed to have at the outdoor cocktail hour? Can the DJ play music or do they have some kind of outdoor speaker system? If neither then what is everyone planning to do?
