Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

Hi girls! This question is for those who already are married. I have 14 months until I get married at the beautiful WBM. I already booked WBM, Timepiece wedding Band, and the church. I feel like everyday I should be planning or doing something, however I feel like I have so much time. What can I be doing/ planning now, so that the time at the end can be spent somewhat stress free. Any ideas? Please?

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

Hi I am a WM bride too, Booked today, first place we looked and booked. they had both rooms set up for wedding beautiful, the CH was outside- it was amazing, the bathrooms are gorgeous, I didnt get to see the bridal suite b/c there was a wedding going on, we got the seafood boat that was a must and the martinin bar but after reading some posts I think I want the tropical bar instead. Anyone know what types of drinks they are? We also got the 7 choice dinner. Our BM is Dave, he was/is great!!! Our dessert is the 3 tier with the fruit, cookies and pastries along with the cake, and I want to get the chocolate fountain. I am going to call them tomorrow to find out some info on it. Who does it ? I forgot the vendor who does it. I will keep you guys posted on the fountain too. Yippy 1 big thing off the list

I used Finishing Touch for chair covers. The WM recommends them. The pink chairs just didn't go with anything else I was having so I had to cover them up! Expensive, but I think it totally completed the room!

Congrats to all the new girls booking WM! You will not be disappointed!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

My Fh and I are on the fence about the photographers we narrowed it down to 2. I didn't start looking for a florist yet. Any suggestions? Should I really start looking for BM dresses this early?

What kind of updates have you seen? You are getting married this November, do you think if it is nice, they will have your cocktail hour outside? My wedding is next Nov. 5....just wondering.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

That is good to know. I thought maybe it had to be on the contract. I might call and talk to them again, and have them put it on the contract (weather permitting). Thanks.
