My job

I really much prefer the volunteer work I do on Saturdays, but since I have to live, I must work somewhere...so here goes

I work for a German Brokerage firm on Wall Street in their Int'l Equities group. I am responsible for all trades done in 6 European countries, from the time it is booked until the deal is closed. B-O-R-I-N-G.

My dream job would be to do my volunteer work on a full time basis. We can all dream

I'm an OB/GYN, 2nd yr of residency. That's why I have no time to plan my wedding. I'm on vacation this week so its marathon planning for me.

I'm a third grade teacher!

For all of you who are thinking of returning to school to get a degree in Education, I highly recommend it!! Teaching is the most rewarding job in the world, as well as the toughest! If you love kids and have lots of patience and compassion, teaching is amazing.

I am a telephone operator in a hospital...I have a BA in psychology and I am still trying to figure out what I want my master's in....oh well I will get it one of these days!!

Yeah I love it-- youc an add that to my list as well--I oversee the Volunteer/Intern dept-- I started there as a full time volunteer and never left!!!

I know .. I thought there would be more HRers! Eventually, I'd like to focus in either Employee Relations or EEO. I'm getting my MA in Org Psych with all my electives in Counseling. My school offers the dual degree, so I'm on a trial right now with the Counseling classes, but if all goes well - I may continue with my EdM in Counseling. Fits for the Emp Relations/EEO role. Right now, I'm trying to get into the recruiting area of my company! I'm hoping that will work out ... we'll see! I'll keep you posted.

Are you in the city? I'm downtown!

I work for a mortgage company that specializes in helping people who don't have perfect perfect credit get home financing.
