Met: on yahoo! Neither of us were looking for love at the time. I was in a LD relationship. We were in a regular NYC chat room. Found out we grew up 5 minutes from each other. Talked on the phone for 3 months, met in person, 4 1/2 years later we are getting married!

Proposal: He re-enacted our entire first date, and on our first date we ate at china grill..so he had a marriage proprosal printed in a wonton cookie...when that happened my parents, grandparents and his parents walked in and surprised us, also on our first date we went ot merchants, so after that all happened we went to merchants and all our friends were waiting for us.
Ring: I designed the setting, since my dad's in jewelry...I had an eternity band with diamonds going all the way around (round stones) and the center round he picked out I have a pic of it at home, not here

~ We are having a Cinderella themed wedding and I love it! I love wedding planning even though it takes most of my time and bank account. In the end, what matters to me most (CHEESY ALERT) is just being married and feeling like the luckiest girl in the world--Cinderella!

Met at a local Bar when all our friends hung out he introduced himself and the rest was history. Oh yea we met Last year around this time it will be 1 year Dec.11th

Purposed:5/17/04 in Aruba on vacation on the beach as the sunset he got on one knee and she asked the question.

Ring: I had picked out before we left for the trip but I thought it was getting resized and that he would purpose around Christmas time our 1 year anniversary. Marquis cut with round diamonds on each side and princess cut in lay.

Proposal: he is always complaing of hearing rocks in his tires, so one night on our way to get ice cream he did it again - being that i never hear it i just rolled my eyes at him. he pulled over checked all the tires, made me turn the steering wheel and everything....then came to my door, got down on one knee and said 'i think i found the rock in my tire' (which was my ring). now whenever he says that i think im getting jewelry!!

MET: June 2003 doing musical theater in Naples, NY

PROPOSAL: It's a rather lenghty story that can be found here. In a nutshell he surprised me by flying me up to Naples where we met, and proposing to me in the house we spent most of our time that summer. Candles and rose petals were everywhere. And my favorite champagne was flowing! Hee hee.

WEDDING: The Carltun - 10/7/05 - Vineyard elegance theme

HONEYMOON: Most likely St. Lucia

Don't have a dress yet, but the shopping begins next week!


ETA on 10/20: Started shopping today and fell IN LOVE with an Anne Barge. I think it's 'the one'. Time will tell... Dress shopping is so fun!!!!!

I kind of had 2. the first one, we just happened to have woken up at the same time at 4 am and we just started talking and everything, it was 1 month after i move in... and he just said it all of a sudden out of nowhere.. we were both crying... then in like 2 weeks, or maybe less I came home from work one day and was playing some music and he came over to me and got down on one knee,... i knew what he was doing and i dint want him down on one knee so i got down on the floor with him and he took out the ring, i didnt even look at it I just hugged him and started crying again!

Met: through mutual friends two years before we started dating ( I thought he was too young). Finally got together at a mutual friend's engagement party.

Ring: So gorgeous... Brilliant cushion cut in a antique setting with 3 rounds side stones on each side.

Proposal: In the apt. Came home to find no Matt, but 50 balloons with instructions to pop each one. Each balloon had a note in it- a cute thing, or a reason why he loved me. Last balloon had instructions to call down to our friend's apt- where he came up with one last balloon to pop!
