i spent over 2 months ingreece out in the sticks. no electricity or bathrooms. i ppooo'd and peeed in an out house. yep.. just me and a shovel.

would i go camping ? yes

Seriously! I'm surprised at how many people hate camping!

Though I'm not going to lie- last year we went camping in the rain and it was awful. We bought a new tent (one of the easy pop up tents that you don't have to assemble) and didn't find out until it started raining that it didn't come with a rain tarp. We tried to cover it up with a blue tarp but it was so windy that it blew away, along with many other things. After the first MISERABLE night we went on a 4 hour long river rafting trip that proved to be equally miserable... one of our friends actually almost died. When we got back to the campsite, it started raining again. I told Dan I would give him the best ever if we could leave that night. He agreed. We packed up the tent and left everybody else in the rain- best decision ever.

We own a travel trailer on a campground upstate!
We go every weekend.

Granted it is luxury camping (we have our own bathroom and heat and a bed) but we love it.

We live in a basement apartment right now and we need to get out of the city as much as possible.

The camp ground isn't fancy, but we love it.

Neversink River Campgrounds it's near Liberty NY.
It is literally just a campgrounds. No meeting house, or game nights. Although there are showers and bathrooms. Just a fire pit and land oh and however much booze you want.

Yup. IMO the tenting sites are nicer. The trailer sites tend to be on more open spaces. And the tenters are back more towards the woods.

They are seriously cheap. There are pictures on my facebook.
