1. When most people think of wedding music, they think of DJs, tell us how you offer a unique and special alternative to the traditional?
Although DJs are, in most cases, a lower priced alternative to a “Live” band, they cannot match the excitement or personal touch that a live band provides. Additionally, it is impressive for a live audience to experience a band that can actually duplicate the sound & voices of the original recording that they are familiar with and love; while also enjoying the visual of “Live Entertainment” and “Live Musicians”
2.In your opinion, is a band best suited for the cocktail hour or reception or both?
A band is best suited for cocktail hour, reception and ceremony, (if the ceremony is at the same site as the reception venue). We offer many different combinations of musicians for all three segments of you wedding.
3. Tell us about working in conjunction with other types of entertainment such as a DJ.
We work with, and have worked with many outside entertainers such as DJs, specialty singers, dancers, comedians, and singer impersonators. We can subcontract any of the above entertainers to save you the task of needing to do more research and having to look elsewhere.
4. What types of entertainment music do you offer?
We offer a variety of styles ad genres of musical entertainment, from the standard “Golden Oldies” from the 40s and 50s, to the hottest current songs and everything in between. We perform all songs true to the original versions with a spontaneous, exciting and dynamic presentation which will bring back the exhilaration of when you first heard these songs.
5. Tell us about how you motivate the crowd and keep the party going?
We are not “in your face” performers, at least not as far as outrageous antics and shouting are concerned. Instead we tailor our performance to your specifications and to your guests; leading the crowd via an authentic and exciting sound and stage presence that speaks for itself.
6.Can couple’s customize their song list or do you have a repertoire they need to select from?
We custom tailor your song list to exactly the songs and artists that you request and want performed at your wedding. What you do not want to hear we simply won’t play. In fact, we make sure to discuss these fine details with you 1 to 2 months before your wedding day

We are unique among other bands or DJs and offer an unparalleled experience, professionalism and excitement!
8. Give us some insight on what a couple should look for when choosing a band.
Although there are many factors to consider when choosing a band for your wedding, the #1 thing to look for is the band’s ability to keep your dance floor packed, your guests moving, and how much fun (for everyone) they can provide.
9.How far in advance should a couple book with you?
Though we have booked some weddings about 2 to 3 months before the actual wedding date, that’s very rare. A good rule of thumb is to book at least a year in advance of your wedding date. However, if you know the band you want, don’t hesitate to contact them and find out if they are available for your affair no matter how soon or far in the future its scheduled to take place.
10. What do you require for setup and is there anything they should inform the catering hall of?
We take care of all setup logistics by working with the wedding facility. We have performed at most, if not all of them through the years.
11.Is this something younger as well as more mature couples can take advantage of, benefit from and have fun with?
We cater to all age demographics and can custom tailor our repertoire to adapt to any situation.
12.What are some of the most requested songs you can boast you do?
We get requests for just about every genre from every era. From the standards such as Sinatra’s “Come Fly With Me” and “The Way You Look Tonight” to The Beatles, Stones, classic R & B, Disco, 80s and 90s tunes, and today’s most current hits, we do it all.
13.What, in your opinion is the developing trend in bands and wedding celebrations?
A developing trend in wedding celebrations is that couples tend to be more passionate and knowledgeable than ever in selecting the music format they want their musicians to adhere to. In fact, many contemporary couples are shying away from some of the “old school” traditions such as a cake cutting ceremony, and especially from having “The Bride Cuts The Cake” played during this segment. Instead they prefer to choose a song that has a more significant meaning to them.
14.What can hiring a band add to the wedding celebration?
Regardless of “when” you get married, professional and inspiring “Live” entertainment can be instrumental for making your event memorable for all the right reasons.
15.Tell us about some of the latest innovations and how you are keeping up with the market trends.
As we mentioned, we specialize in recreating the couple’s and their guest’s favorites, exactly as they remember first hearing them. In fact, we pride ourselves on keeping current and for the capability of taking on songs and tunes that many other bands might consider too “challenging”. Through years of experience and dedication, as well as a passion for music and our craft, we can recreate even the most challenging sounds. From Billy Joel’s “ Italian Restaurant”; Journey’s “ Don’t Stop Believin’”; The Beatles’ “In MyLife”; and Queen’s “You’re My Best Friend”, plus many, many more, we can duplicate your favorites flawlessly In addition, we thoroughly go over the couple’s play list, in detail, both with them and on our own, well in advance of the wedding day. We honor ALL the couple’s requests including their “do not” play list. In fact, we won’t take a request unless we have the bride and groom’s pre-ordained consent, and only if we feel it meets the couple’s criteria, and fits in with the spirit of their special celebration.
16. What kind of “sound” is your particular band most noted for? (jazz, swing, big band, etc)?
We are not known for one special or particular sound, but instead for our diverse variety of musical abilities. In fact, we even play some popular ethnic selections. However, if some genres cannot be done justice with our particular musical instrumentation, we tell the couple up front, working with them to provide other viable options such as CDs or Ipods.
