I've been sitting here trying to find the right words to describe just how amazing Eddie, Frankie, Mel & Rich were on my wedding day, but I don't think that the words even exist! From the moment they all walked into my hotel room, I felt comfortable and knew this was going to the most amazing experience of my life, and that I had 100% made the right choice for photo/video. I have a very intense sense of humor, and I was able be myself with all of them and they played along right back with me! My husband didn't even want a photographer for the wedding because he hates taking pictures, and he even said 'they were so fun, that I actually liked taking the pictures'. That's HUGE! The crew knew my venue, Chateau Briand, like the back of their hand, they got every shot imaginable and left nothing out... We could have gone on for hours, but I forced them to stop so they could eat! I've seen a preview of a few shots, and keep looking at them over and over again, and can't wait to see the rest, all I keep saying is 'is that ME?' So, to wrap this up... To Lauren and the S27 office staff, thank you for your kindness and dedication to making me feel so special, when you have so many other clients to deal with. To Eddie, thank you for making me feel like I was a model, for dealing with my sense of humor, and for getting every single shot without me even asking. You have an amazing talent and I look forward to seeing what else you shot that day, and for other brides in the future! To Frankie, thank you for being as funny as I am and laughing along with me! You made the video so fun, and so creative! And I have a whole new love for the phrase 'tune in Tokyo' To Mel & Rich, thank you for being the most awesome assistants to these guys, coming from an assistant, we make the world go round! Studio 27 we're absolutely amazing!!! Very professional, precise and talented. They made me and my husband so comfortable and made us laugh the whole day!!! I HIGHLY recommend them!!!!

I would recommend Studio 27 to anyone! From the very first meeting with Franco and looking over there work we knew they were the ones we wanted!! They were such a pleasure to work with and were so much fun to work with!! The whole staff from Lauren in the office and the team of photographers were very professional. Dealing with Studio 27 was so easy!

I could not have been happier to have Studio 27 photograph my wedding! From start to finish they were awesome! With all that goes on throughout the day, Steve, Chris Son, and Boy Wonder made everything fun and so easy. We had a lot of laughs that I will always remember. The pictures came out beautiful and truly helped me relive the day. I can't thank them enough for their positive energy and awesome attitudes! I highly recommend using them!

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this photographer. If you want your special day captured perfectly, leave it to Studio 27. From our first meeting with Justin, my husband and I knew that we had found the photographer for our wedding day. The whole staff at Studio 27 was professional and detail oriented. The entire process, from the day we signed the contract, to the weeks and days leading up to our wedding day, to the wedding day itself, all went seemlessly. Justin and Neo were our photographers the day of, and we couldn't have been happier with these two. They worked perfectly together. They were engaging and fun and they helped ease the nerves and brought the stress level down significantly on what could have been a very stressful day. We haven't received our final pictures yet, but we did get a sneak-peak at the camera the day of, and the photos looked AMAZING!!! Pictures are extremely important as they will last forever and you only have one chance to get them right. Studio 27 was GREAT!!! I would definitely recommend this vendor to all my family and friends.

Tell us about Studio 27 and what makes your services so special, different and unique.
Studio 27 is a high end video/photography studio, focusing on capturing the raw emotion of a bride & groom’s day. Our photography approach is very photo journalistic, and our videos are shot very cinematic and documentary style. Our videos are all shot with DSLR’s in High Definition delivering a finished product unlike anyone in the market today.

Tell us about the latest trends your seeing in weddings when it comes to photography/videography and how you are keeping up with and/or keeping ahead of the trends.
Soon to be the latest trend in wedding video is shooting each event in High Definition using DSLR cameras. The use of DSLR cameras gives a unique look to the finished product. The images are crystal clear and colors will pop off of your screen. Our trained shooters can utilize the unique depth of field that a DSLR lens can give and a standard High Definition Video camera cannot. The photography trend is becoming very photojournalistic. A style we have mastered years ago.

Explain to the couples why having a skilled and creative photographer/videographer is essential to such a milestone event and what they should look for.
Having a skilled photographer/videographer is essential if you want to capture all the details and emotion of your day. Trained men and woman know what to look for. They can visualize the finished product, as the shots are being taken or set up. Nothing will be missed.

What is your formula for making sure each shoot is unique and that all special moments are captured and recorded for posterity?
Our formula for making each shoot unique is simple. Getting to know the bride and groom is essential. Understanding their personalities, the things they want and don’t want. We understand the timeline and we keep to it. We give ourselves plenty of time to capture everything without being intrusive and annoying.

What sets Studio 27 apart from others?
What sets Studio 27 apart from most of our competitors is our commitment to the Bride and groom. We DO NOT book more than we can handle. Our staff is OUR staff and knows every shooter in our studio. Many of the studios we have worked for before we opened Studio 27 have called in shooters a week or two before and have no idea the quality of their work. Believe me it is out there. We keep our volume low and our satisfaction rate high!

How do you want your couples and their guests to remember you when the party is done?
We want to be remembered as a studio that was easy to work with, delivered what they promised, were unobtrusive in their approach, listened to what the couple wanted and created a natural, fun atmosphere, making it easy for everyone to act naturally and casually.

When should couples begin thinking about photography/videography in their planning process?
Couples should begin interviewing photographers and videographers about a year out, depending on how many they plan on seeing. A studio like ours which limits it’s bookings per day book sooner than large studios that will use anyone as long as they can grab your deposit.

What are some things or information YOU need (from the couple) to ensure a job well done?
In order to ensure a job well done, we will need accurate timing of the day. If a couple has specific family photos, we will need that list as well. We want to know how comfortable they are in front of a camera therefore we include a complimentary engagement shoot with even our basic packages.

When should a couple book your services?
Couples should book as soon as they feel comfortable.

How many times do you meet with couples before the big day and what sort of things do you discuss at these 'meetings of the mind'?
Meetings with couples are not limited to any number. We typically will meet three to four times before the wedding day. Once for them to gather info, second to sign a contract. Third for an engagement shoot and fourth to go over all final details. If a couple wants to meet again, our doors are always open and our phone lines always available.
