Did we ever find out how much of a credit they give for NOT using a Fox Hollow cake??

I plan to find out on Friday - i'm still torn about that!

Awesome!! I have my heart set on having a Mad Hatter cake (a left over from my originally planned disney wedding) and I got a quote yesterday that was OUTRAGOUS! I have a few ideas on how to cut the cost (ie: ordering a smaller mad hatter cake and feeding guests with a sheet cake from Fox Hollow) but I'm still curious to know.

Have fun at your meeting!! I can't wait to go to mine in December!!

What about doing the mad hatter cake for the RD??? Did you get in touch with Tom at Audreys? He's doing my grooms' cake...

Audrey's was actually the first place I called because I've heard their cakes are excellent and their prices are reasonable. They also had photos of Mad Hatter cakes they had done on their website that were really nice looking. I was quoted $500 for the Mad Hatter style then $2.75 per person and $1.50 per person ON TOP of that for fondant. I did the math and for 175 people it came to over $1200!!!! I swear I almost had a friggin heart attack! Now I'm beginning to think that maybe the girl quoted me incorrectly....

Also, I'm not even sure were having an RD so I'm not so positive that would be an option...but thanks so much for the suggestion.

Why don't you email Tom? I got my quote directly from him & only dealt with him.... Here's his email: [email protected].

Jess - can you get a complete list of linen colors when you go on Friday? I want to use brown and ivory and I want to see if they have brown.

i was thinking abotu doing brown linens too but i wasnt sure if it would match the red chairs ? I feel like chair covers will add up, and i would prefer to spend the money elsewhere...

SO do you girls think brown linens would match the red chairs? I could always go with plan B and do ivory linens since its in the same family. Thanks

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Well - D - what do I need???

They said to bring a list of vendors (which I typed up in Word) and the menu we were given at the time of booking & the contract.

Do we pick out the cake at this meeting? Should we bring our cake toppers so that they can see the size, etc...???

make sure you bring your list that you have to ask your questions...

your packet they gave you when you booked.

yes you pick your cake out and they can change a few things with it! (that was the hardest part)

they show you your rooms again!! and show you the tables .. the place settings .. how it will look like!!

we really were not there long.. it went by very fast!

I think I heard it can take up to an hour. I have my list of ?? in my notebook & that's the same notebook i'll stick the vendor paper into. I figured i type faster than I talk & write with a pen - so i would make it all nice for Jen. She seemd very nice on email :)

After the appt. - we're heading to georgette's so i can get a bra for my dress! WOO HOO!!!

Then it gets sad - and we have two wakes to attend...
