Did we ever find out how much of a credit they give for NOT using a Fox Hollow cake??

I plan to find out on Friday - i'm still torn about that!

Awesome!! I have my heart set on having a Mad Hatter cake (a left over from my originally planned disney wedding) and I got a quote yesterday that was OUTRAGOUS! I have a few ideas on how to cut the cost (ie: ordering a smaller mad hatter cake and feeding guests with a sheet cake from Fox Hollow) but I'm still curious to know.

Have fun at your meeting!! I can't wait to go to mine in December!!

Jess - can you get a complete list of linen colors when you go on Friday? I want to use brown and ivory and I want to see if they have brown.

Cake Options:

Sponge - yellow, choc, marble, carrot

Fillings
Choc mouse, cappuccino choc mousse, white choc mousse, choc pudding, vanilla pudding, vanilla custard, french custard, cannoli, lemon preserves, strawberry preserves, raspberry preserves, pineapple preserves, fresh strawberries, fresh bananas, strawberries & bananas, banana pudding, cream cheese, whipped cream, napoleon, straw shortcake, blackforest, cassata

Frosting - whipped or butter cream

Can do fondant or marzipan

Linen colors
- white, ivory, cranberry, black, pink, red, light green, light blue, and a i think a few others.

Menus are pretty striaghtforward - have the Fox Hollow Logo at the top and just the list of food options. They put one on each plate. I did not like the placecards, but these are simple and I plan on using them.

Jen can send you the word document if you want to make your own so it has all the food options spelled out for you.

If you decide to do fondant, is there an additional fee?

It says on the sheet that there is an additional charge, but I wasn't charged the fee (not sure if anyone is, or maybe because I am off-season or what?)

can you also ask them for the price of a cake UPGRADE?
when i was there for booking they told me they could make me any cake i wanted and if it got complicated there might be a fee but didn't get into what the fee would be.

also...
can you ask if frozen margaritas and daqaries are included with the open bar?
Ron told me they were, but when i got my letter there was an upgrade option for a frozen drink station and now i'm confused.

What about doing the mad hatter cake for the RD??? Did you get in touch with Tom at Audreys? He's doing my grooms' cake...

Audrey's was actually the first place I called because I've heard their cakes are excellent and their prices are reasonable. They also had photos of Mad Hatter cakes they had done on their website that were really nice looking. I was quoted $500 for the Mad Hatter style then $2.75 per person and $1.50 per person ON TOP of that for fondant. I did the math and for 175 people it came to over $1200!!!! I swear I almost had a friggin heart attack! Now I'm beginning to think that maybe the girl quoted me incorrectly....

Also, I'm not even sure were having an RD so I'm not so positive that would be an option...but thanks so much for the suggestion.
