Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Posted by mrtandmrst

hi there friends....

I am getting married at fox hollow on june 8th 2008

I definately want to get a cake from an outside vendor....

I only put down the deposit..... and I was wondering if I should tell them that I don't want them to provide me with a credit.... before I pay.... the next installment

I dont want them to be angry...

Thanks ladies

i would definetly just call them up and tell them asap that you dont want to use the fox hollow cake.. so you can get that out of the way.. and make sure there are not any problems.

I can't speak for everyone, but I *loved* my cake! It was chocolate cake, with banana pudding filling, and whipped cream icing. Yum!

yea there were so many choices.. from the style.. the filling.. etc... it was worth it to me just to have them provide it!! one less vendor to book..hehe

i would say there is about 10 different cakes to choose from!!

I am sure they have malibu. I know they have dewar's -- my FGIL (future grandfather in law, like I how just made that one up??) drinks only that so it was important to FH that they had that. I think they have absolut ... not sure about rum ... or wine. I think I had a glass of wine though at the restaurant and it was fine ...

On a similar note, as for beer, they said they could get us what we wanted within reason.

i agree- they actually have nice chairs so people don't have to use chair covers. But if you want to- they have them available.
