oh also is anyone in agreement with me that they are deathly afraid of sharks? Im terrified. you couldn't pay me to do the shark excursion. those pics of people with 7 ft sharks near them. Hell no!!
can they get near your owb. i think i watched the discovery channel during shark week too long. also I watched open water. don't watch that!!

Nope! I can't WAIT to do the shark feeding!

Can't wait for shark tour - one of the main things that attracted me to FP (OWB was the main thing).

I think the time difference is 5 hours? Someone correct me if i'm wrong... is FP 5 hours behind or 6?

Right now, FP is 5 hours behind. Not sure if they do Daylight Savings Time...

I'll be there in late Nov and into early Dec...wedding is on Nov. 25th. I know this is sort of their rainy season but I read in enough places that they really don't have a rainy season...it is just most humid then so it may rain here and there but that you shouldn't not go then b/c of fear of rain. Apparently if it rains it shouldn't be an all day thing...I will die if we get too much rain. But they say jump in the lagoon and enjoy the rain - that it's still so sunny and hot when it's raining!

I am also afraid of the shark thing.
I don't even snorkel girls...I get panic attacks! All those fish around me freak me out! My FH is excited to snorkel though. I'll just swim around in the lagoon and not look at all the fishies!

I am scared of the shark thing also, but everyone said you ahve to do it, so you should try to convince him. We are going to do it, I think once you get in there it wont be so bad.

Re: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.) Honeymoons!!!!!!

Hi ladies! How are you all? Boy, this is a great thread. Althouhg I have been on Li weddings for some time now(Brides helping brides forum only) I recently found out this thread was here, so this is my first time writing!! I was wondering if any of you can help us. We are going to Tahiti for 18 days for our honeymoon this May, and although our honeymoon is booked, we were trying to find specific room numbers that someone knew of , that were in a great location--either good view, secluded, nice beach area..basically whatever you loved about it, we would love to know the bungalow number/room number. We are staying half the vacation at Le 'T ahaa private island resort and the other half at Bora Bora Nui . We have an OWB at Bora Bora Nui, and a suite at the Le Tahaa (not a OWB)...Can anyone give us any info on these two resorts and what OWB or room numbers to choose! Thanks so much!!

Re: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.) Honeymoons!!!!!!

thank you so much for that update, it was refreshing. i'm a little disappointed that the thalasso won't have the spa fully accessible. I guess having a massage in an owb won't be so bad...

I'm hoping 95% of the resort is fully operational by the time i get there..
