I definitely got one. If you absolutely need one, I would bring your own (just to be on the safe side).

Re: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.) Honeymoons!!!!!!

My FI co worker just came back from Tahiti. He said it was great and that we definately need to go to Bloody Mary's. He said that they did so much during the day and would wake up so early that they went to bed early every day.

If there are drinkers, he suggested bringing liquor for your room because everything closes at 11. He did Moorea and BB. The hotels he stood at were Le Meridian and Intercontinental. He said the OWB was beautiful!!

I dont have that much info because you know how men are...

Who has been or going for their HM? Which islands? Where are you staying?

Me:

1 night Tahiti Intercontinental (garden view room)
4 nights Moorea Pearl Resort (beach bungalow)
5 nights Bora Bora Pearl Resort (2 nights garden pool bungalow & 3 nights overwater bungalow!)

**We're now staying 10 nights (added an extra night in Bora Bora) b/c of the flight cancellation!!

Would you mind FM ing me a quote you rec'd for that? That sounds like alot of fun, FH is picking the HM spot (&it will be a surprize, but I'm giving him 3 choices, I just wanna make sure all are in our Budget)

Re: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.) Honeymoons!!!!!!

What are you girls doing as far as money? Are you bringing cash and then exchanging it when you get there? I think we are going to mainly use our credit card, and then maybe 500-1000 in cash?? Or do you think that is too much?

If any of you girls go to Bloody Mary's....I need you to try and remember to ask for me if they are open the last night in November! They supposedly close down for all of Dec - I tried emailing them to ask but no response. I just want to know if I can get there my first night in Bora Bora which is Nov. 30th! I know I can find out when I get there...my hotel will know...but they say to make a reservation days in advance...so I want to know if I should email my hotel to see if they can set that up for me before I even arrive in Bora Bora. Not sure why I want to get there so badly....I heard it's cool!

We're probably only bringing like $200 for cash (exchange it in the airport), just for some souveniers. Everything else will be put on a CC b/c the exhange rate is much better.

Same here, we're doing it. But def don't do it if you're afraid. We're not doing the helicopter tour (although FH thinks he can convince me) b/c i'm terrified of flying... esp in a helifcopter!!!!
