Lindsay Lohan is considering taking time out from her music and movie career to go to university and study for a degree.

She love to follow in the footsteps of twins Mary-Kate and Ahsley Olsen and enrol at New York University.

New Yorker Lohan is already formulating plans to combine further education with her Hollywood jet set lifestyle, because her home city has excellent flight links around the world.

She tells the New York Daily News, 'I would go to NYU. I'm a New York girl, and it's easy to get to London and LA from here.'

Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter may be making a bid to buy The Source magazine.
The rumor shouldn't be shocking to those close to the rumor mill, but the talk has steadily gotten louder, especially after music mogul Steve Stoute interviewed on Hot 97 day before yesterday (Nov. 3)
Women's Wear Daily reports that Jay-Z, president of Def Jam, could be joining forces with Lyor Cohen, CEO of Warner Music Group and Stoute, who heads up his own company, Translation Consultation & Brand Imaging.
Previous published reports have indicated that The Source is $16 million in debt, a claim made by Textron Financial Corp, the company's chief creditor.
The company is seeking to take control of the magazine due to disputes over how the finances and the company is being managed.
In addition to Jay-Z, Cohen and Stoute, magazine rival Harris Publications, who owns XXL, may also attempt to purchase the 'bible of Hip-Hop' should it become available.
Interscope Records recently purchased a stake of Translation Consultation and Brand Imaging, which has matched Jay-Z with Reebok, Gwen Stefani with Hewlett-Packard, McDonald's with Justin Timberlake and Beyonce with Hilfiger.

Sean 'Jay-Z' Carter opened his 40/40 Club in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Tuesday (Oct. 25), adding another piece to his business empire.
Construction started on the new $4 million dollar, 15,000 square foot sports bar and lounge in July of 2005. The new club is a part of the retail, dining and entertainment district developing in Atlantic City called The Walk.
Carter was also given the key to the city by Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo Langford during the opening celebration.
The superstar rapper/mogul attended the opening with Beyonce and ex-Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Terrell Owens, Timbaland, Magic Johnson and other celebrities were on hand to celebrate the opening of Carter's latest sports club.
The rapper is also planning to open 40/40 Clubs in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Singapore.
Carter opened the first 40/40 Club with partners Desiree Gonzalez and Juan Perez on June 18, 2003.
'Atlantic City is the second stop on our 40/40 Club world tour,' said Owner Juan Perez. 'We are very excited to be a part of this growing community and The Walk expansion project.'
The Atlantic City, New Jersey 40/40 Club features more than 30 Plasma screen TV's and exclusive VIP rooms similar to those at the flagship location in New York City.
The Los Angeles 40/40 Club is slated to open in 2006, the Las Vegas 40/40 Club will launch in 2007, while the Singapore 40/40 Club plans to open its doors in 2008.

Superstar Tom Cruise has dropped his sister as his movie publicist and hired a top Hollywood flak after coming under intense media fire for publicly mixing his religious views with his movie-making.

Cruise, 43, announced Monday that his sister Lee Anne DeVette would hand over publicity for him and his production company to veteran spokesman to the stars Paul Bloch, following a tough summer in which his image took a beating.

DeVette will now exclusively oversee Cruise's soon-to-expand involvement in charitable causes, notably those linked to the Church of Scientology of which Cruise is a devout member.

'Lee Anne has done a wonderful job on behalf of myself and Cruise-Wagner Prods. over the last few years,' Cruise said in a statement received Monday by AFP.

'But she has always expressed a desire to oversee and expand the day-to-day activities of my charitable endeavors,' he said, announcing that Bloch would now handle his own publicity and that of his Cruise-Wagner Productions.

'I am thrilled at this new opportunity to oversee Tom's philanthropic endeavors,' DeVette said in the same statement.

'I know how important Tom's charitable goals are to him, and I am looking forward to assisting in raising the profile of the good works that he does on behalf of children's health issues, mentoring, literacy and other social reforms, as well as the general betterment of the human condition,' she added.

The switch comes 20 months after Cruise sacked his longtime Hollywood publicist Pat Kingsley and hired his sister, who had for years worked closely with the actor at his Cruise-Wagner Productions.

But Cruise's closely-protected image sailed into rough waters this summer when the usually very private actor began giddily expressing his love for actress Katie Holmes in interviews, including one where he boisterously leapt up and down on US talk show queen Oprah Winfrey's sofa as he told how much he loved Holmes.

The unusual antics sparked widespread speculation in the media over whether the expression of love was genuine or a publicity stunt.

He then used his 'War of the Worlds' global media tour to announce his engagement to Holmes in June and then proceeded to talk publicly -- and sometimes combatively -- about his Scientology beliefs.

Cruise and Holmes, who have been dating since May, announced last month they are expecting their first baby.

Your right it doesn't look right on her at all. I wear those 'Jackie O' shades all the time but it depends on how my hair is. It has to be pulled back for me. It doesn't work for me w/ my hair down
