Britney's 'Sweet' For Broadway

BRITNEY SPEARS is in talks for a very 'Sweet' deal. MARC MALKIN reports that the pop music princess is in serious negotiations to make her Broadway debut in the current revival of Sweet Charity.

The 23-year-old Spears would replace CHRISTINA APPLEGATE, 33, in the title role of the unlucky-in-love dancer, Charity.

And guess who may be joining Spears? Her husband, KEVIN FEDERLINE. 'He'd be a dancer in the show,' a source tells Malkin. 'The producers really want Britney and will do anything to make this happen.' Spears was spotted as recently as last night attending a performance of the hit musical. A rep for Spears declined to comment.

PARIS AND STAVROS SPLIT -- FOR NOW

The steamy romance between Paris Hilton and Stavros Niarchos III is over — at least for now.

A source close to the hunky shipping heir's family tells Star, 'They broke up Nov. 13. Stavros told Paris that things are out of control and he's through with the drama. He said to her, 'I need time to reflect. I should have been home today studying, instead I am here paying $100,000 worth of bills.''

The bills are for the damage that was reportedly caused in Stavros' ninth-floor hotel room in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that a table was thrown, causing a sprinkler head to break, four rooms to suffer water damage and fire alarms to ring. And Stavros, 20, was reportedly seen afterward shirtless with feathers in his hair — presumably from a pillow fight.

Although Paris, 24, was reportedly in the hotel's penthouse with Kelly Osbourne when the room was wrecked, she wasn't pleased with Stavros, who also wrecked her Bentley on Nov. 9. She was reportedly overheard telling Kelly, 'I don't want [the hotel] to think I bring in people who do this.'

'He's tired of the whole Paris Hilton drama thing,' Star's source said. 'She's forever saying, 'Let's party hard like rock stars.' Every night has to be a party.' Meanwhile, Stavros' family is said to be outraged. 'The family called Stav and said, 'What's going on?'' the source said. 'They laid into him and said they loved him, but it was time to cut Paris off. She's a bad influence.'

It ended when 'Stavros walked out,' the source says. 'She was yelling, 'Stavros, Stavros, come back.''

However, Paris' rep denies they've split and denies Stavros wrecked his hotel room, telling Star People, 'The two of them are doing great. Stavros seems to be totally in love with her.'

But in a stunning turn-around, sources tell Star that Angelina has convinced Brad that she's just not ready for marriage — and they've called the wedding off!

DOESN'T NEED THE PAPER
'Brad would marry her tomorrow,' a source tells Star, 'but Angelina's telling him to wait and see. She said she doesn't need a piece of paper to feel married, so she'd rather stay the way they are for the time being.'

And Brad, says a source, is so in love with Angelina that he has agreed to lay off the wedding talk. 'Brad wanted to be married to Angelina before the year was over,' the source says. 'But now he has agreed to wait. It's not that Angie never wants to marry Brad — she does. She just wants them to be absolutely sure before they tie the knot.' And, says a source, 'they've experimented with living together all summer and learned that they still have a lot to learn about each other.'

I'm so happy for them...here's the story:

Christina Aguilera Marries

Christina Aguilera married her boyfriend, music executive Jordan Bratman, in northern California's Napa Valley on Saturday.

The nuptials took place at sunset under a mountainside tent at the Staglin Family Vineyards in Rutherford, Calif. The singer walked down the aisle in a Christian Lacroix gown; her bridesmaids wore dresses by Stevie Wonder's wife, designer Kai Milla.

Bride and groom exchanged wedding bands by London-based jeweler Stephen Webster, who also created Aguilera's five-carat, diamond-and-platinum engagement ring.

The wedding festivities began Thursday and included a lavish Friday-night rehearsal dinner at the Auberge du Soleil resort. Aguilera and Bratman had asked guests to make donations to Hurricane Katrina and Rita relief efforts.

Bratman, 28, and Aguilera, 24, became engaged on Feb. 11, while on vacation in Carmel, Calif. As PEOPLE reported, Bratman proposed in a hotel room filled with rose petals, red and pink balloons and gift boxes, each containing a present and a self-penned poem.

'When I got to the last box, there was a ring in it,' Aguilera told PEOPLE at the time. 'He got down on one knee and said, 'Will you do me the honor of being my wife?' I've been floating ever since.'

'Christina was very surprised,' a close friend of Aguilera's told PEOPLE at the time of the engagement. 'She's ecstatic.'

In April, the pair threw a party in Santa Monica to celebrate their upcoming nuptials – the groom-to-be even carried his fiancée over the threshold of the restaurant – and their families met for the first time. Tables featured rose petals and mini wedding cakes.

'It was a really romantic party,' one attendee told PEOPLE. 'They seemed really happy together.'

In July, Aguilera picked out her wedding dress during Paris Fashion Week, and, on Oct. 28, she and Bratman held a joint bachelor-bachelorette party at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The couple met in 2002, when Bratman worked for her management company, AzoffMusic Management. This is the first marriage for both.

NEW YORK (Nov. 20) - Christina Aguilera has found out what a girl wants, and now she's married him. The 24-year-old pop singer tied the knot with music executive Jordan Bratman in a Saturday evening ceremony at Staglin Family Vineyard in northern California's Napa Valley, Us Weekly reported on its Web site.

Sources told the magazine that Aguilera, her hair decorated in jewels and pulled back in a bun topped by white flowers, walked down the aisle in a Christian Lacroix gown. The couple exchanged rings in front of about 130 guests.

Aguilera and Bratman arrived in Napa Valley on Wednesday to kick off wedding festivities, with a Japanese-themed rehearsal dinner Friday night at the Auberge Du Soleil resort, Us Weekly reported.
