Russell Crowe and his wife, Danielle Spencer, are expecting their second child, the Cinderella Man star announced to TV cameras on the Golden Globes red carpet Monday.

'Yes, Dani is pregnant again,' said Crowe, according to newspapers Down Under, which had been reporting rumors of a pregnancy for a month. 'She's due in July, so it's a French conception.'

Crowe, 41, and Spencer, 34, already have a 2-year-old, son Charles Spencer Crowe, who was born Dec. 21, 2003, in Sydney. His parents married the previous April at the Gladiator Oscar winner's Australian cattle property.

'He's just overworked and had been in Atlantic City performing, the D.C. area performing, and in Tunica (Miss.) a couple of nights ago. He was just overworked,' his longtime songwriting partner, David Porter, tells the Commercial Appeal newspaper, adding: 'He's doing much better.'

Bolton 'Very Serious' about Nicollette

It's looking like Michael Bolton and Nicollette Sheridan are getting closer to the altar.

'Look, if I did not feel this is the story, I would not have invested so much time and energy in it,' the singer tells New York's Daily News, which reports that Bolton, 52, and the Desperate Housewives star, 42, snuggled together for photographers covering InStyle magazine's Golden Globes after-party.

Asked about the engagement rumors, Bolton relied: 'Nicollette and I are very serious about each other. ... I am very committed. It is a very special time in my life. I have a good feeling about the future.'

As PEOPLE reported earlier this month, Bolton reunited with Sheridan (the two dated in the early '90s), and he serenaded her with an impromptu New Year's Eve mini-concert in Hawaii, as the pair partied at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental.

Last October, Sheridan broke off her 10-month engagement to Nicklas Soderblom. She and L.A. Law actor Harry Hamlin divorced in 1993, after being wed for two years. Bolton, who divorced wife Maureen McGuire in 1990 (after 15 years of marriage), raised three daughters as a single father.

'I have not been that happy for a long time,' he told TV interviewer Daphne Barak, as quoted by the Daily News. 'I have been staying at Nicollette's place in L.A. the last several days. We just needed this time together. We are both giving it a real try.'

Rebecca, who plays a high strung TV reporter on the upcoming WB show, Pepper Dennis, says of her expected marriage to the Crossing Jordan star: 'It's sometime this year.' Although she'll give no details on her wedding plans, she says it probably won't be a huge affair.

Meanwhile, however, are she and Jerry already looking for a cool place to live together after they wed? Rebecca confides, 'I'm obsessed with a beautiful part of Los Angeles that Jerry and I discovered called Angelino Heights. [There's] a street called Carroll Street with these beautiful Victorians. We were floored by it.'

Rebecca is coy about whether she and Jerry might be happy together in their own Victorian house, saying only, 'we just checked out this neighborhood. We like to go exploring.'

She's not shy about gushing about Jerry. 'I'm in love. I'm on cloud nine. We have a lot of similarities. Both of our mothers were public school teachers. My dad and his dad were both artists. Everybody gets along very well.' Sounds like a match made in heaven!

Shocker of the evening? Renée Zellweger wasn't allowed into the Golden Globes' backstage press area! 'Renée was looked at by two security guards and was denied access because she did not have credentials,' an eyewitness tells Star. 'Renée looked skinny and was wearing heavy black makeup. After much begging by a friend who said 'but this is the Renée Zellweger' she was let in!'


Charlize Theron seemed so worried about her makeup at the InStyle/Godiva Chocolate party that she air kissed everyone she met — instead of actually touching their face. While air kissing, sometimes Charlize would miss people's cheeks by almost six inches with air kisses choreographed to protect her flawless makeup job!


Chocoholic Camryn Manheim was so excited by the Godiva chocolate room at the InStyle party that that an eyewitness says she made a beeline for it! 'It's my favorite,' gushed Camryn as she entered the VIP suite with waiters waiting to adorn her with chocolate martinis and chocolate treats upon entry.


Paris and Nicky Hilton were the last party-goers to arrive at the InStyle/Godiva Chocolate bash. But who did Paris walk right toward? Melanie Griffith! An eyewitness heard Mel proclaim, 'You are just like I was at your age.' The witness says Melanie practically pushed her young daughter onto Paris and said, 'You guys should go out and party.' Melanie's daughter and Paris shared a cigarette before Paris moved on.


Jenny McCarthy appeared on the prowl at the InStyle/Godiva Chocolate party, that's for sure! 'I am going to spill something onto George Clooney,' the newly divorced beauty joked. 'I am very single and not looking to get serious.'


George Clooney was sure in a good mood on the InStyle/Godiva Chocolate party's red carpet. 'C'mon, bring it on,' Clooney said. 'I am ready for your Brad and Angelina questions!' Clooney also said he was thrilled by meeting Anthony Hopkins just seconds before.


Golden Globe winner Sandra Oh used her award like a sword to part the crowds in front of her at the InStyle/Godiva Chocolate bash. 'Comin' thru,' Sandra yelled as she jabbed a few unlucky party-goers with her Golden Globe Award.


Nicollette Sheridan and Marcia Cross had a bit of a tiff on the red carpet at the InStyle/Godiva Chocolate fete, according to an eyewitness. They could not decide who would get their photo taken first, and when Sheridan stormed the red carpet with Michael Bolton, Marcia appeared, well, cross! She posed for a few photos by herself, found her fiancé, and then left the party within five minutes of arriving. The witness says Nicollette then laughed triumphantly!


Lost star Emilie de Ravin tells Star she's engaged! She's marrying a young man, Josh Janowitz. She says they met a year ago and hope to marry later this year.


Amber Tamblyn was so desperate to go to the bathroom that she commandeered the men's restroom for ten minutes at the InStyle/Godiva party. 'Amber had a man stand guard outside of the men's bathroom while she did her business inside of the bathroom, which had 8 stalls, while a group of miffed men waited outside,' an eyewitness tells Star. Talk about nerve!


Also at the InStyle/Godiva party, 'Jamie Foxx walked around for most of the evening with two Godiva chocolate martinis in his hand,' an eyewitness tells Star. 'He would offer sips to lovely young women who take a few sips.' Now, that's smooth!

Angelina's Kids Now Have Brad's Name

It's official: Angelina Jolie's children, Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 1, have the last name Jolie-Pitt.

In a Los Angeles courtroom today, a judge approved the couple's name-change request. 'I can confirm that Ms. Jolie's petition was granted today,' said her lawyer, Evan Spiegel.

Last month Brad Pitt, 42, announced his plans to legally adopt Jolie's two children. Changing Maddox and Zahara's names is just one more step for the pair who are also expecting a child together.

'It's the idea that you love one another and you want to create a family together,' a friend of the couple tells PEOPLE. 'What's beautiful is you can do it by birth (or) by adoption.'

This latest news caps a life-changing year during which the couple went from costars (in last summer's Mr. and Mrs. Smith) to supercouple to, finally, Mommy and Daddy.

When they are not traveling the world, Jolie, Pitt, Maddox and Zahara live in Pitt's oceanside Malibu home.

Los Angeles neighbors George Clooney and Teri Hatcher supposedly have been spotted around Southern California together, leading MSNBC to ask Clooney's rep just how serious things are.

'What is your definition of a date?' replied Stan Rosenfield, spokesman for the 44-year-old Syriana Golden Globe winner.

The Desperate Housewives star, 41, has apparently said: 'If I went on a date with George Clooney I would not be talking about it.'

Rosenfield later clarified his earlier statement. 'I spoke with George, and this is what he told me. 'The rumor-reports, etc.' that I've had 'several dates with Teri Hatcher' is not true, but if it was true, you'd be the first to know.''

Clooney has kept his romantic life under wraps, despite occasional reports about his on-again, off-again relationships with ex-flames Lisa Snowden and Krista Allen. At Monday night's Globes ceremony, he was asked on the red carpet when he was getting married.

Saved by the Bell alum Mark-Paul Gosselaar, 31, and wife Lisa, 34, are expecting a baby, PEOPLE reports.

The actor, who now stars on the hit TV show Commander in Chief, and his wife will welcome their daughter this spring.

The couple met when Lisa had a small role on Bell, and they married in 1996. They also have a son, Michael, who turns 3 on Jan. 31.

Gosselaar, a former child star who began modeling at age 5 and hit it big on Bell in 1989, also starred on NYPD Blue.
