Have you spoken to him recently? We just learned (from LIWeddings) that Westbury seems to no longer be a Scotto Brothers establishment and I wonder if Ron is still there. Thanks!

Westbury Manor is still being run by the Scotto brothers, but they are not on the website anymore - they are creating their own - www.westburymanor.comI spoke to one of the Scotto people the other day (forgot his last name) and he said that there wouldnt be any changes to menus/decor etc.

WAITTTT A MINUTE!!!! Are you telling me that Gennero is not there anymore??!!?!?!?! Why wouldnt they call us and tell us??? I am gonna call there tomorrow. And they are or arent a Scotto owned place?? I am so confused and deff. not happy! Will they just give me a diff. person without telling me? What the hell is going on?

Susan Bria was my BM, she was very helpful. As far as I know about changes there, people say the food has improved even though I didn't think that was possible.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
From what I have found it is still Scotto owned but the brothers are running them all together anymore they each have thier own. Gennerro is gone! I was pissed also when i called this morning and they told me he is at Fox Hollow now. It would have been nice to get a letter about it. You can pick bm you want. I have no idea who i'm going to pick either. I was hoping to get a recomendation from someone on here. There is lots of info on this on a different link. I'll bump it for u.

I just wanted to all to know that I feel your pain!! I just called there the other day asking to speak to Dave, who WAS my BM, and they told me that he was at foxhollow. So, concerned, I asked who WAS my BM, but they just transferred me to MEL who, in my opinion, was very rude and rushed me off the phone telling me that everything would be fine. So, now I also have the same question-who should I ask for as a BM? Did anyone have a good experience with one that is STILL there?

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
I just got married there on 11/6 and it was great. Jerry was actually there and came and introduced himself. I didn't notice any negative changes...my ONLY complaint was that there was bar mitzvah going on in the smaller room (we were in the Manor room) and there were 13 year olds running around everywhere. Hopefully nobody else will encounter that. But the room, service, food, etc was fine....oh and I never got to see it (missed the cocktail hour - my fault) but I heard the ice scuplture was nothing to brag about - so you may want to consider skipping that. I'll be posting my bride review sometime this week...we just got back tonight!!Good luck and don't stress!!
