I voted TOO MUCH! I love him for trying to help...but sometimes when I ask his opinion...I really just want him to say 'thats nice dear' and let me do what I want....LOL. For example...we are trying to pick invitations and he has a comment about every one...it has too many flowers, it's too plain, etc. Oh well...I'll eventually get what I want anyway

My FH is trying to put in as much as he can...sometimes he does the 'yes dear...that's nice dear'....and then sometimes, he wants to and he can't since he lives in MA and I am here doing everything.

about 50% (although when it comes to some things I think it's too much at times, but overall he's been great!)

Well my honey is giving me 25% at best. He found the photographer and picked out our honeymoon and so far that is about it.

Fh has been really helpful. The only thing he suggested I do on my own is the flowers which is COMPLETELY understandable.

Nada...He hasn't even seen our reception room (granted he saw the first one and we had to switch to a bigger room but he should still want to see what it looks like) Now I just show him pictures of what I like and ask his opinion. THis way it is something that I want but he feel like he is having some say

Not much at all, he's just not into this wedding stuff. All he cares about is being there for the day. I did get him to see the reception hall and photography place before we booked them though. He's going to come with me to all the vendors before I book them because I need his input also.

Not much...Every catering hall we check out he loves more than the others. And they're all so different!!!

So far I've been doing all of the major research (which suits me fine, b/c I love doing research!) and will narrow down our choices to a few vendors. We go to all of the vendor appointments together and decide on one together. This has been working well so far!

in the beginning, he was gung ho about the whole planning. As the months went on, he backed off. after the shower registry, I lost him :) No, hes been great, I ask for his opinion and he makes decisions but I do a lot of it on my own.

I agree with mlp924.
My FH works 70 hours a week, i rather him put his efforts into work and I will handle most of the wedding stuff. (someone has to pay for this big event) Although he wants to pick the food for the buffet, help with the limos,and hold the scanner at the registry........lol (he loves that part).

We have done everything together and picked out all of the major vendors together. But I am the one who usually is calling the shots. For example: I picked out all of the flowers, (only white and red roses) I knew exactly what I wanted... everything we decide on together though is also because of economic reasons. Two heads are better than one in determining our budget. We picked our invitations together, photo and video, dj, etc... I know I always get a little demanding though.

I did the research for most of everything, but he was at every appointment, and we made the decisions together. He even helped put together the invitations.
