Other than Hair/Makeup vendors on the board...Salons in Hauppauge?

Hi ladies! Doing research for hair/makeup quotes for trials, day of, etc. and I cannot believe what I am getting!
So, trying another alternative...I will be travelling down to LI for Christmas week. I was thinking of contacting local salons/spas in the area of my Hotel we are staying for the wedding week. We'll be staying at the Wyndhan Windwatch in Hauppauge.
Anyone have a reccommendation of a good salon in the area of Commack, Hauppauge, Smithtown, etc?

I have never been there, but I heard good things about Bocu Salon in Commack. There is a website. Bocu Salon

I use Bridget at La Moda II. 265-9475 corner of 347/111 I have VERY thick curly hair, so anyone who can handle my hair gets an A+++++++ in my book!!

I didn't have a good experience at Cactus, I also thought they were very snooty, JMO.

I would suggest Celestial hair gallery in Smithtown, (631) 863-0072. I've been to Maria and have been very happy with her work. If she is not available, they also have a couple other people who are very talented.

There is also a Cactus Salon in Islandia which is closer to the Wyndam.

You can call Jillian from Georgeous Faces. I'm using her for makeup and she's coming to my hotel, however, she can also get you a hair person.
