Did My post about Bridal Reflections of Carle Place get deleted?? (repost of my opinion)
If so.. it'd be nice to have an FM so I don't think it was lost.ANYHOW
We should be ALLOWED to post a negative review.
So I'll do it again.
These people were snobby. They did NOT allow us anywhere near the BM section at all.
I thought they must have thougth I was a BM so I told them I was the bride and just wanted to look.
They said no.
I needed a consultant. For what? I did ask. They said to show me the designs... whatever.
I told them I didnt NEED a consultant. I basically said I just wanted to see what colors they had, designers and designs. Basically my wedding is 11months out, I just wanted to LOOK.
They said no.
Hrmph!
So as Jim and I stood there thinking these people are insane, they told us they dont have any room left today (that day) and we would need to make an appt the next day to see a consultant.
'I wont need a consultant tomorrow anymore than I do today' and I left.
YES This ticked us off beyond belief. Even Jim was amazed and how rude they were.
Now.. I'll keep posting my opinion of these snobby rude and inconsiderate, self-righteously selective people until Im told WHY my post was deleted.
We should be able to SHARE our opinions.
Not only that.. in my last post I said POSITIVE things about them in a way that they treat appt set brides like queens, even if they're prices are a bit high. SO good and bad.
ETA: This post does have less of what I REALLY felt like calling these people, which was in the last post.

I am sorry you had a bad experience. I heard BR can be snobby too, but I actually did not find that all the times I was there. They gave us time to look around, then they were very helpful in directing me & my sister in finding a dress to flatter her. (only flaw I found was when we ordered they were a little too preocuppied with other things goign on around them instead of the girl just ringing us up.) but they were also great about mailing my swatches of the dresses so I can have a sample too.

I never needed an appointment when I went there. They allowed me and my bridesmaids to come in and out numerous times to try things on.

Re: Did My post about Bridal Reflections of Carle Place get deleted?? (repost of my opinion)
I hear ya girl I went to the one in Massapequa and my MOH almost cursed her out. The lady treated me like if I couldn't afford the dresses there and that if I wanted she could get LAST years dresses from the BASEMENT. I was toooo thru. My MOH was even worse. We went down the block to the BM section and they were much nicer. You don't need an appt for that. But we never went back ALL beacuse of the first lady's attitude. My cousin (MOH) was like, is it beacuse ur black she treated u like that? I sure hope it wasn't. I make MORE in 6 months than she does in 2 years. IMO- if u could spend ur money somewhere else do so.

Sorry to hear about that. I have gone in several times to look at BM dresses without an appointment, but I bought my gown there so they know me. Maybe that is why?? Sorry!

I had a bad experience at the bridal gown section at the massapequa location but a very good experience at their bridesmaid section! I actually just started my BM dress order there yesterday! They have been very helpful and sweet to me so far for my girls dresses.Welcome New Vendors
