Shoe Boxes of Love
Just wanted to share this, and I will post it on NWR as well, since I know more people frequent that board. For the past few years FH & I have been taking part in this outreach and it's amazing. All you do is take a shoebox and fill it with items for children. you indicate what sex & age group you bought the items for and then you drop it off @ a drop-off location & they get delivered to children around the world. The deadline is nov. 23rd. Please FM me with any questions, I will be happy to help, I will post the link to the website....I had tears streaming down my face when I Saw the video coverage of the children opening the shoe boxes. It's such a great way to give something back!Shoe Boxes of Love

Re: Shoe Boxes of Love
Girls...I'm so excited...I made my Shoe Box of Love..here are the details (one by one of course
)My box is made for a boy, between 5 & 9 years old. I went to the $$$ store tonight after work and bought the following: box of flash cards (addition), toy binoculars, package of toy cars, pack of crayons, paper, bar of soap, 3 pack washcloths, toothpaste and a toothbrush...for a total of $9.22
I wrapped the box in snowman wrapping paper and included a X-mas card.
Thanks endlessluv
