Updated w/ more ???? - Hawaii Advice - Any experts out there???

A couple of weeks ago I posted to see if anyone booked their HM via BJs. Below is the package I am considering.

12-night, 4 Island Combo
Oahu, Kona, Maui & Kauai

2 nights at Sheraton Princess Kaiulani
3 nights at Outrigger Royal Sea Clif Resort
4 nights at Ohana Maui Islander
3 nights at Ashton on the Beach

Does anyone have any feedback about these places? Do you think it's too much to fly to 4 islands in 12 days? I welcome all feedback because honestly I don't know.

Edited to ask: I think you all are right, I think maybe 2 islands. Out of the 4 Islands (Oahu, Kauai, Maui, Kona) whichs ones do you recommend and why? I am thinking 5 nights on one island and 5 nights on another.

Re: Hawaii Advice - Any experts out there???

It seems like alot of islands for 12 days.
We went for 10 day and went to 2 islands.

ven on the inter island flights, you need to be ther an hour and an half early, check luggage, and return and pick up the rental car on the next island.

We lost about 3/4 of a day flying from Maui to Kauaii, since our flight left at 1:00 all we did was eat breakfast in the am and thn go to the airport, and didn't get into the next hotel until 7:00 at night.

Do they have any apckages where you go to three isladns or maybe 2??

Re: Hawaii Advice - Any experts out there???

I agree. I think it is way too much for 12 days. A lot of moving luggage . We stayed in Maui and Kuaui and took a day trip (all day 5am-8pm) to Oahu....That was plenty for us

Re: Updated w/ more ???? - Hawaii Advice - Any experts out there???

It also agree that 4 islands is alot in 12 days.
We went for 10 days and went to 2 islands - Maui and Kauai - 6 nights in Maui and 4 in Kauai. We LOVED Maui and never wanted to leave - it was beauitfuly and tons of things to do.

I thought 4 nights was plenty in Kauai since it's more quiet and not as mich to do in terms of sightseeing/resturants, etc as Maui. I would recommend doing Kauai as a last stop to really enjoy the quiet and R&R before you come back to reality.

Sorry I don't know anything about your hotels thought, we stayed at the Grand Wailea in Maui and the Hyatt in Kauai - Good luck!

Re: Updated w/ more ???? - Hawaii Advice - Any experts out there???

You have to decide what you want to do. Oahu is a city (a lot of it is much like NY) We were glad we did the day trip there to see Pearl Harbor and Waikiki Beach and stuff but my DH said he would never have wanted to stay there for our HM (JHO), Maui is upbeat but still rural with lots to do, Kuaui is VERY beautiful and relaxing, peaceful and I didn't go to Kona so I don't know anything about it.

Wherever you go in Hawaii you will LOVE it, it is all so beautiful!!

Re: Updated w/ more ???? - Hawaii Advice - Any experts out there???

4 islands is alot for 12 days. I just did that for my honeymoon. It is a lot of jumping around. I am glad I did it because if I never get back to Hawaii I can say I was on all 4 islands (plus since I am a travel agent, I wanted to see them all so I can tell my clients about them) I would say, do Maui and Kauai. They were my favorite of the 4 islands.

If you want more info, let me know.

Re: Updated w/ more ???? - Hawaii Advice - Any experts out there???

I would recommend Maiu and Kauaii.

It all depends on what you are looking for.

My friedns went to Oahu on vacation, and they liked it, but they knoew i would not like it, for my honeymoon. It was like a big city, and alot of bars etc.

My travel agent receommend Maui, Kauaii and the BIg Island.
